An after work evening
Its a speciel event in Gothenburg in these days where they promote food from the west coast...
Go To Sea is the name...and experts in marine environmets are presenting different cases...
"go" as in "gothenburg"...
And they presented which clams and oysters one can eat...
And hoe clams clean water...
And we also got to try some...
Pretty nice...
And the technique to open an oyster...
I also went to some art expo...
And back again to enjoy how they fish market is like...
After that I passed by one of my favorite After Work places...
And experiences that swedish ppl weight 75kilos...
I also got to try some fancy cookies...
I also tried to take some good pics of the night life...but failed...the tram I tried to catch left before tha pic was taken...(classis photographer dilemma?)
Later I also went to a sports store for my brothers sake...
All you can eat Hamburger
Some day ago I went to an all you can eat- Hamburger bar...
I met up some random friends there...one of who offered me some lemon and grape plants...
They also had many kind of candies...
Omg...my favorite...
And the burgers...it was beef brisket, after shaped to burgers they were left in 48 hours...and thats the secret of a good burger...according to the brittish chief, who also lived in australia...
The queue started with the bread...and then u told how many patties you wanted...
And the u added cheese...
And salad and the rest of the things...
My plate became full very fast...
S many sauces...

Not that many people were there...

And some more candies...

Fifth..
I had some extra chips...
The place nace is Le Pain Francais I think...I wsa here last week to, its on the avenue...
And for the record..I had 7 burgers...2 with double patties...but I plan to break that record next time...
Hash run in Gothenburg
I joined some Hash run in Gothenburg recently...
It was in the spring sun...
They are every here and there in goethenburg area...today they were in sävedalen...
And they had a small session to describe for beginners how to identify the symbols that the hare might leave...
It was suppose to start about 14...but we waited for some ppl arriving by bus...
Some spring signs...
Omg...they celebrated their 100 hash run some month ago...
I brought lätöl (low alcohol beer) since I was suppose to drive later the same day...
Probably some 20-25 ppl at the line up...
And of we went...this is the first sight...a spot...and ppl were suppose to say "on-on"...to tell the others that they found a trace...
In general it was 2 groups, 1 walking and 1 running (jogging), however, the running one is usually spread out, so anyone can keep their phase...
Omg...this means that the next trace can be whereever in the area....ppl start to run in different directions...
puh...I found the next symbol...
After a while runners and walkers had different routes...

And a play ground...it was alot of fun running...
It was not as muddy and dirty as my run in taipei...

I got m lättöl after the 8km...I think the walkers did some 5km...
They had some stronger beer...
"im only here for the beer" as my chalmers classmates use to say...
And some mingeling...
And ceremony...in taipei it was forbidden to take any pics of this..but here it was ok...
Many ppl had to drink...due to some reasons...
I go to drink due to my "worse outfit"...I was earing my 80´s suit...I think its epic...maybe they didnt...
"Gothenburg Hash House Harriers"...started 2004...omg...
It started to get a little chill outside...
Some ppl got Hash names...
And fluor in their hair...and the party continied inside...
But I met up with Eberth in the city...but will attend more hash runs in gothenburg...
Investigating a lake
I recently inspected a lake...
The winder wind brings many things to the sea side...
Its always fun to collect before to much grass apears...
Omg.a boat...maybe I should restore it...
Chinese New Year Celebration
I passed by Anders yesterday...
We had a Chinese new year Celebration...(pineapples are a good symbol for chiense new year I heard)...
I was partly wearing red...
Anders wanted to take a pic of little Oskar, who also was wearing his chinese clothes...but didnt get the attention...
Many kinds of dishes on the table...
Including hotpot...
Meat, (the chicken is from the same city as where Anders won Olympics goldmedal (kind of))...
And an interesting pumplin sticky rice ball...
We also discussed some cool websites/apps like google map..but where the users easily can upload their own images...
We also had some green tea and red bean cookies...
And a classic plum...(I use to eat a candy made from this at a burgerbar at NCTU, Taiwan)...
We also tried some cream on the coockie...
The green tea cookie was made of some powder, bought from Japan...
Omg...anders showed a narrative camera...a classic one, that I used to try out last year at Orchid island and Jiaming lake hikes...
Oskar was wearing an epic pyjamas, they should make those for grown ups...its like a sleeping bag...
We also decided to clean some silver...with baking soda, and aluminum...

We also wtchedsome youtube clips...and I found out that Anders has been on Allsång på Skansen, a famous TV show in Sweden...(he is up at the middle of this blur pic)...

A quick visit to a CNY celebration
A friend of mine texted me, that it was some after work near the central station of Gothenburg...
"After Work" often means free buffet...
I had some stuff with me, and didnt feel comfortable to enter the crowded place...with my wet clothes...
Instead I headed to an old friends place...
I brought some chinese and Taiwanese ppl...it was a shot notice event...(a swedish knytkalas)...
The pics gets a little blur due to that it was a blur lense...
The appartment was decorated with red papers...with chinese characters...
And ppl had name cards...
And snacks...
And ppl were wearing red and chinese clothes...
And chinese music was played...
Even the host on TV were wearing red...
It was a mix between european and chiense canides on the table...
Many kind of chinese dishes...some had "mala"...which makes the the tongue numb...I had some bad experience of this in taiwan...
Min my friend did coca-cola-chicken...
...this girl had a fish tattooed on her arm...her name was Yu...same pronunciation as "fish"...
Omg...I made a sweet and sour sauce pizza...it was gone pretty fast...(i felt relieved)...
Random dished left...
And my friend Min and Kenne went to some company yesterday, and bought chips, on which package u can even see which field the potatoes comes from (it was the future they said, that detailed info is on the information)...
"no money o honey"...a classic quote...
This guys name was bengtsson...he had an interesting shirt...
We also got some interesting dessert...

And a funny coffee machine that played some music...

In asian culture money is often included in events like marriage, chinese new year etc, also the word "luck" is common, I associate luck with gamling...(same with money)...I think during chinese new year ppl gamble extra much...
A quick visit to Gothenburg
I had a meeting on Gothenburg recently...
A friend suggested this place at the avenue....
With salad buffet...
He was eating, togetter with his friends in China...
They couldnt "pass him the salt"...but it was fun, hearing them have a normal dinner conversation....
I cant recall I have beenhere before...atleat not at this place...

I also went to some event with my chinese friends..they had candies...gluten-free...so prefessional...
Min comes from a city near Kunmin in south western china...
Omg...many events abou the chinese new year are announced in the news...
We later on went for a company gathering...
With this woman as a presentator...
She has been to mount everest...just like me...but she went to the top...

Last year...she made the "7 summits"...it didnt feel that hard...except for mount everest...(and mabye Aconcagua"...the rest seemed like "normal hike"...
One of my goals in life is to go to these places...
Later on ppl wanted to take pics with her...
I also tried some beers at a friends place...
I probably tried them before...but didnt pay attention...

A minor production of Semlor
I made a small batch of semlor recently...
I did a tenth of a real batch...
It was enough for 2 buns...
Not sure why, but the yeast didnt relly work...
I had vanilla cream instead of almond paste inside...
And some wipped cream ofcourse...
Fettisdagen (The Fat Tuesday)
Tomorrow is Fettisdagen (The Fat Tuesday),
Due to some fasting tradition...now many ppl fast due to the 5:2-diet...
Winter days
We have corals in sweden, in the ocean...but they are slowly disapearing due to warmer climate...
So I like when its cold...for the sake of the ocean...
But still its energy consuming to have colder than room temperature outside...
I recently cooked up with Emil...and his car from 1969...a "classic"...
Old style but looking like a corvette stingray in the front...

I think he used the car mostly for cruising around...
Another friend of mine bought spirit...

Multi cultural meeting
Sunset was at 17 some day ago...
...soon it wil be after 20 or after 22...
I went to a rotary pub some day ago...
My chinese friend Min was also there...
He wanted to try to drink with Hops...
Kedar was also there...he had their nice garlic mayo-pizza...
Me and min shared a spicy pizza..
Frank the tank also showed up...
At this place u fill in a form, whatu want to have on the pizza...
Many french people were there...they studied in sweden, and later they started in some indusrial company...
Min is posing at the higestpeak in sweden...some 2000km north from our current position

I met my friend Min recently...
Talking business opportunites and finding some spring signs in nature...
And had some evening cinnamon buns...

Sunny bike sunday
It was a sunny sunday today...
I fixed some bike...and went to a pizzera...
For a traditional swedish kebab pizza...
My friend had a kebab pizza without the pizza...its almost a traditional swedish dish...
Sunny days, with fishing and some TV session
I have always been a big fan of BBQ...and fire...
So its fun when its could outside to set up a fire...
I also joined a friend out to catch some fish...
I asked my cousin about his secret to get the big ones...and we tried to bench mark him...
Afte some hour we concluded that it was to cold to catch a fish in the bay, we probably need to go to the deeeper water...but in this windy condition its not that fun...so we went back to the BBQ:..
Later on I joined some TV-session downtown...
And some friends wanted to see a very bad movie...
It was 3.3 on imdb.com...i think thats pretty unique...
They had some famous actors...
...and the movie reminded me of my friend Anders Twetman who use to view and comment bad movies on his facebook...
We also played some games...and found out that "pink and red" are genetically attractive to women...

Snowy days are passing by...
It might soon be gone, since it was above 0 degrees today...
I had a yam...it reminded me of asia...pretty nice..
February events
I had some pick-up task to conduct yesterday...
...meeting point at this gate...it was an old blazer that i was about to pick up...
I also passed by a company that showed me their latest invention...
...and had a meeting around cinnamon buns...didnt know they have become a subol for swedish culture...(even thouth we use to promote them when having culture events in taiwan)...
I also saw a guy wearing a swedish military jacket...it looks weird when ppl wear military jackets...especially if its the swedish, when wearing it in sweden...
Winter tradition
Its a snowy landscape in sweden right now...
And it has become a tradition to BBQ outside....
Just some cosy feeling while waiting for summer...(seems like my blog has been facing the BBQ pic alot recently)...tomorrow i have other plans...
