Another joke from my GMBA program

The NCTU GMBA program wants their students to learn chinese, and finally they agreed to let people graduate if they pass Parctical 4, which is a kind of hard chinese course...
The information about this requirement was not that good, so now students who barely speaks chinese, aer taking ths course in order to be able to graduate... :S

What is this?

strange logic...
We skipped the break, to be able to finish earlier...it is 12.10 now and that "finish earlier", didnt really work out...(morning class suppose to finish 12.00 at latest)

So useless

NCTU claims that its an international school...
But everytime I enter some portal, or homepage,, and click "english", it always keeps using chinese...
how can i tell which class I have this afternoon?
So amateur...
The worse part is that everytime I give feedback to the school, about improvements from the perspective of a foreinger..., they either blame someone else, or say "we will fix it", however, they have been saying "we will fix it" for up to 3 years now, and nothing happends...so rigid...or perhaps just culture

Last day of vacation

Tomorrow I will have my first class...even though it is still "add and drop" week, my first shoping round starts 9 am...
Lets do it again some day...(I always have the intention to return to a country, when I leave)

Mold in my room

My classmates told e that I had mold in my closet...
however i couldnt find any when i checked today...
however there is a lot of mold in my room... it smells like shit, i dont understand what my roommates have been doing, but i guess they r use to that their parents take care of them (they r from latino countries, which means highly collectivistic culture, thus mothers suppose to take care of the household...not the others... I went to the janitor
and he took some pics and told me they will deal with it when school starts... I asked for a new temporary room, and got a new key, to a room that also had mold...crazy...taiwanese dorms are made without ventilation...so stupid...

At Shanghai airport...

I have been here before... It is interesting, i still dislike chinese customs...they often seem to wana create trouble for people...

Its expensive at the taxfree store, and every store are selling the same items...whats the point of variety then?
Just like when working with road reconstructions...8 workers, 1 or 2 are acctually doing something...
I bought a chocolate for 42 Yuan...it was what I had left in my camera case...
Thus.I succeeded in getting rid of all my renminbi anyway...
Burger King "hambao wang" has my chinese name "han" in it...however it is simplified chinese...
Here is another font...
THey had a smoking room at the airport...but ofcourse the smokers wanted some fresh air in ther cell, meaning that it was smoke in the whole area of that terminal...stupid logic...
At the horizon of the airport one could see the ocean and alot of ships heading towards the bigest harbour in asia...
Some guy was noisy at the check-in, and some asian policmen were nearby...kind of entertaining...
Henry my classmated is a really nice guy, he helped me with alot of things today.
I took the MRT to the airport, it was convienient, just 7 yuan, i payed 100 yuan for taxi when I came...stupid airport staff that wont give you sufficient information about transportation options... But its ok...my winter vacation trip is comming to an end...
Looking a last time up to the skytower...before im leaving the city...
Shanghai is a little like Beijing...very chinese atmosphere in the city...with small stores and bikes mixed with cars...
We lived in a hotel in the very center of the city...the breakfast was nice...
It was nite to stay at a hotel as a change...not a 12 bed dorm...
Nice view from the hotel...in the morning

Hult Challenge final

In the morning, on our way to the business school, i saw an chinese NCTU logo...so interesting...
Alot of people were already there...and they offered some kind of breakfast...even though I went up extra early to eat breakfast at the hotel as well (I only slept 3 hours last night).
We got our private room to work at...
We had class in the morning as well, and we adapted our plan to what we learned...
We had a "special weapon" which would lead us to success...
More class...not so much focus on housing, but more a gneral presentaion about how housing, energy and education are connected...
In china, people are not that taiwan friendly...even though I met many people who came from Taiwan who worked in shanghai with business related things...
On this map that was showed to us, taiwan was not listed..but neither was Bhutan, brunei, samoa etc...hard to be objective...
There were 3 people presenting...al. were intersting characters...this is the "energy guy"
We continued to work, with our solution...using happiness ad harmony...it was a great team...
We also promoted our university...with the flag...many people stopped and talked to us, especially people who had some kind of connection to taiwan...
At lunch time, Ashley, our indian "ambassador" gave us lunch...he gave us refill afterwards...I ate alot of them...
It was tastysallad wraps...so nice...
Ashley also helped us with providing information...abot the schedule and other practical things...
We had 12 minutes to present our solution...and we were asked not to be to many people presenting...these 2 guys were the ones carrying out the job...
We were asked not to check up on other groups, when they presented...however it seemed like the other groups all were spying on the groups presenting to the judges...
Many people were nervous...as the 2,5 hours of presentation time went on...
And many groups were using advanced presentations...however it was hard to understand their english sometimes...
The presentation for our team went fine, but as usual in asia, people like nice presentaion not nice facts... The Hult competition was a copy of Venture cup in Scandinavia, not sure why it is so popular...just some free food and a presentation...
It was served cookies and coffee all the time...I was sipping every no and then, resulting in that I was high on caffein...
After the presentation we were directed to a bus taking us to the finals...we were sent to the wrong bus first...where we were the only ones...
But later we came to the right one...and headed to the next destination...
Nice landmarks...high buildings...a sign of super capitalism in the communist state...Inconsistency?!?!
Hult Global Case challange, from Hult business school, names after the Swedish billionaire Bertil Hult...
People were filling up the room slowly...
The toilets at this place were interesting...ther was a hole where people who were peeing could watch people who were washing their hands...in the room beside...
New thinking...then u can pee until u know there is a sink available...
Mingeling outside of the building...just before the show starts...
A canadian girl who was studing at Hult´´s were hosting...
A guy from Taizhong, Taiwan was the Managaing director of Hult´s school in Shanghai...
One of the teams in the final, had a similar idea that I had, using solar cells to save money for other purposes...
It was kind of boring listening to super many ideas...people started to fall asleep...
Here are the winners of the asian round...
Here is the food...
Here is a team member, taking picture of another team...
They serverd a variety of wines...(Jacobs creek, australia), and chinese beer...

This is the team who stay for the dinner...

I started with the dessert...as usual...
We went by bus from the dinner to the after party...

The guys who dared to stay the whoe dinner are heading back to the hotel... (eventually only me and my friend henry walked the whole line and went clubbing afterwards)
The temp in shanghai is near 0, like 1 or 2, during the day I have been looking for a time to go shopping postcards, but so far we have been busy all the time... however it is fun to talk to other students in asia...i met some taiwanese people here, it is interesting how it works...everyone is licking chinas arse...they have the money, they have the power... but behind the scenes, everyone talks about Taiwan as it was a country....
My classmate ordered alot of books to the hotel in Shanghai, to save money...perhaps she will resell them in taiwan...
Maybe the name of the club, said to be "up class"...but seemed kind of crappy...alot of russians and new rich people showing off...
Now it is time for the after party...
Shanghai my night...

Hult business competition

Im in Shanghai, usually facebook and google docs etc is blocked. But I got this client from my university, its really convenient. However, this swedish blogg page is always accepted...china is to busy blocking other blog sites...
We were met up by many people from hults buiness school (students who i guess didnt quilify in their own local qualifiers)...
We met alot of other teams from other asian countries...
And a room where we could work at...
We also got water...that was interesting, since all the bottles were really filled to the very top, meaning that if u presed them just a little to hard when opening them, water was spilled...
Dress code: Casual...
A welcoming speech and information session...
Then mingeling around...
My business cards were already finished, so I produced some temporary ones...
After class there were some food...
WIth some interesting combination of food...
Then more mingeling around...
Then we were heading back to the hotel...
After buying some proviant for the night...
Besides the room service that helped us out alot...
Some local chinese food...
And then working hard...
I think i went to bed at 4...and with a 5 hour jetlag from new zeeland it was not hard to fall asleep...

In Shanghai

My trip continues to Shanghai, to join a competition with classmates.
I left Auckland rather early...
Looking at different types of airplanes...in this "top airport" according to the auckland people themselves...
I also found the New Zeeland christmas tree again (on a pic)
Same as I saw in the wineyard the day before...
Alot of people were watching the airplanes...taking off and arrive...
Lucky I had a book to read...
I also found the "air china" logo...
Which is the same logo as my sponge bag, that I got from my father some 15-20 years ago...
The airport itself is vey consstent...they dont surprise u like asian airports like to do, by adding requirements as u carry on your flight, causing u alot of extra costs...
They use international regulations "100 mls", not "no luiquids", or even worse, they scan items, let people buy things in the tax free area, and then scan again, to confiscate things...(as some asian countries)
For planes, not yet ready for take-off, a "relax" sign was commented for the passengers...
I tred to relax...in the facilities that they offered...
But never the less, i was entering china...a very bureucratic country...everything could go wrong...
I was looking at wines meanwhile waiting...
And managed to get rid of all my cash.
It was easy to see that I was far east...since some planes were going to south america...
It ended up to be a nice sunset as well...many different colours...
At midnight I took off...
The flight was asian style...
Super small space to leave to toilet...I climbed over people to get to the isle...
And the girl in fornt of me squeezed her seat back...which was not designed for europeans...
However alot of movies and entertainment on the screen at my seat...
However I could not get refill on the food but had some mints that i got from a classmate in bali...they were nice.
I was directed to the Airport bus...in stress to make it to the hotel breakfast that I though ended at 10...
I ended up in a taxi anyway...it was 100 SEK...I went with another girl...who was heading in the same direction...I didnt know that the Mtro was only 7 SEK...but the airport information here seldom inform you about more than u ask...it might b a culture thing ("is there any bus going down town shanghai", means for them "I need to take a bus, no other vehicle is possible")
I saw the Shanghai expo building on my way to the center...
When at the hotel, it took me a while to communicate with the staff that I wanted my room, and to find out where my friends were...
Eventually I found them...
Then I dumped my luggage and headed to the breakfast...
It was a nice breakfast...(with an asian touch), but a lack of tables...so people had to look around for a while before they found a plce to sit...
We started to finish our idea in a hotel room...a nice application from our university, helped us out to enter many internet sites...with chinese internet I had problems entering many sites...but now it was just like home...
We spend the time in the hotel room, figuring out good solutions for tomorrows presentation that we have to do.
In some hour there is an orientation at the Hult Busines school. It will be fun, however im mostly thinking of burglers in New Zealand and my molding closet at Taiwan...
At lunch time we planned to go out to eat, but ended at the hotels restaurant...
It was a nice view over the city from up here...
I asked for something typical Shanghai food...and got fried rice...
After that we went to the competitions first event...

A short visit to the island Waiheke

today a short visit to the island waiheke was made, since I will produce wine some day...(mainly waiting for global warming to continue).
I had to take the boat outside Auckland...
Crossing high waves...
To the famous (locally) island Waiheke...
It seems to be a pitoresque society, they even has a billboard, telling which people they did not want to come to the island...auckland is full of theifs...
We went around in this small couch...
the driver was nice...he had been to sweden...
The island has 35 wineyards...we ill visit 3 of them...one is said to be the top 2 in New Zeeland...
The landscape was similair to the one in france...it was a good place for planting some kind of grapes...
We were guided in some yards...I got the chance to ask usefull questions, but I still had one left that I didnt have time to ask...we also got to taste some of the wine...it was good...
Chardonnay is the most popular grape in New Zeeland...
As by the book of a farm, wineyard etc, there is a souvenir shop...
A classical wine maker...i want one of those...
Just like Riedl glasses that I always wanted...there ones looks like some I saw at RT-mart in Hsinchu, Taiwan...I will buy one next time I go there...it will take the wine experience to a new level...
This is how the house looked like...most houses on the island were red, due to the iron in the stones...but not this one...
This is the name of the first yard...non of the ones on this island has any export to the international arena, as I was told...

They were also selling things like handcraft...
It felt like the small villages of southerns sweden some times...
They had alo tof readings and research about this island...
And the yards were often decorated with things, like this new zeeland-ish cristmas tree..
And this cork tree...even if they dont use cork that much in new zeeland any longer...
And there was a net covering the whole plantation...from birds...
We also got oil and bread to rest our togues...
The ast wineyard wevisited was suppose to be the most famous one...however there were alot of people there...so it didntfeel that personal...
This is the owner...
And these are some awards they got...
The island was really full of wineyards...family owned...and the properties on this island were super expensive...
The island trip was fun.i got inspiration to start a wineyard on my own, just like some.years ago when i took sonme courses in the field at gothenburg university. my only hinder is the swedish frost. tomorrow i will go to shanghai. i really dislike the customs there, always (or often) problem...

in auckland

in auckland. looking for a dc comics store.seems hard to find one.
As usualt, bus is the best way to travel...
On the way to auckland, we passed some "lord of the ring" sites...far in the horizon is the shire...
And on this pic, I managed to capture a small part of a castel, that apparently also was in the movie...
I also passed by Hamilton...
And after a while I could see the high tower in Auckland...
At Mcdonalds they had a burger called " the boss" it was good...
There were alot of asians in Auckland...everywhere...
One thing I did not understand was that I saw alot of swedes everywhere...but the exchange offices never showed SEK...
There are alot of interesting buildings in Auckland...with nice lightning...
And the skyline...
There were alot of expensive boats and ships at the harbor...
And I got the opportunity to try local beer...
And this was also ok...many times they taste similar...
got a message from a classmate that my closet in taiwan is full of mold, including my suit, which they gave to the dry cleaner. irritating. this never happens at home. its ok.tomorrow i will visit a wineyard, it will b exciting

Maoi cultural village and geysers

last night a visit to a maoi cultural village was made.
Many foreingers, mostly australians and irish people joined up...
2 group leaders were picked...before we got to see the entertainment...
They painted themselves in the face...and here, just like in Australia, ppl had alot of tattoos...
And we got to see how they lived, watch some games and how they danced...
Just like when I was in the axcores, we ate food that was heated underground...
There after they performed some dances...again, and sang songs...
There after we ate the food...
The day after, a trip to a geyser parc was done...and we saw one of the biggest geysers in New Zeeland...
Alot of people were watching this geyser...
one of the few geyser areas in the world. the others are in yellowstone, gejsir and kamchatkapeninsula.
There were alot of holes in the ground...with strange names...
And lakes with funnd colours...
They also had a nice souvenir shop...
And mud ponds...
The next stop was Hells gate...another geo thermo area...
It was like walking on the moon...
And one of few warm waterfalls...
Every time I saw a cool site...it said "its the best/biggest/most unique, in the southerns hemisphere"
This is the hottest pool around...constantly boiling...
This is typical face paintings...very special...the more paint the more experience...
And I ended with some mud bath...
Tui was a famous beer in New Zeeland...super good...
I finally also bought a pizza at dominos...kind of small...but atleast I have tried it...I remember when I stayedin Southhampton, Dominis had alot of advertisements...
The hostel here has alot of flags...
I came to eat burges at Archies Burger cafe, however, it was not that super good...
Ths hostel seemed to have one of the highst climbing walla in New Zeeland...
Also walking in the city, near the Rotorua lake, seemed to be dangersous...it was thermal activities there aswell...
Tomorrow it is auckland.that will b my final destination here in new zealand..

Heading to Rotorua

I was told that Taupo was not a super fun place... It was nice to visit, and for relaxing i guess.
The trip continues to Rotorua that is a small village 1 hour north from Taupo... The names of places here are similar to other Polynesian names, like "nui" in Rapa nui, which is the original name of Easter island...I heard that people from Taiwan came here, but they also went all the way from Easter Island...
This is the bus thats taking me the short distance...
It was similar landscpape as the rest of the island...
But suddenly hills appeard, and steam and smoke from them...it was a sign that we were near rotorua

Taupo

Taupo is not as mounty as i expected.

An interesting observation is that cars never stop for u when u want to cross, u need to wait for the cars to pass by, expect at traffic lights...(even if there are some crossing points...)
Before I left the city, i treid this Pale ale...
And this beer, that I actually also tried in Gothenburg a longtime ago at Delirium...
And my favourite...on tap...

In Taopu

In the center of the northern Island of New Zealand, there is a lake with a small village calles Taopu. This weekend it is full of people since there are 5 festivals going on at the same time (or something). I was told that there is some nice trekking in this area nevertheless. We will see what there is to do here.
I finished this new zeeland wine with an italian flag on the label as I came to Taopu...
The Mcdonalds staff here in Taopu were very hostile...
Perhaps a culture thing...
There seemed to be some kind of iron man activity nearby...but it turnedout to be a relay racing...
The lake is a big part of the city...one girl crossed the lake longtime ago...it was far...
The tourist information was very nice...
New Zeeland is using the same logic as Australia, instead of saying 3% fat, they type 97% fat free...as if they were talking to americans...so funny...
I tried some turkish kebab, it was good...
Alot of people were walking alon the lake side...
Far on the other side, one could see mountains...
There were some monuments around to...
And alot of festivals...Today in Taupo it as the Great Lake Relay 2012...http://www.relay.co.nz I wish I knew more about it...so that I had the chance to participate...

Festival and events it causing fully booked hostels

There seems to be alot of festivals going in in new zealand for the moment. Causing all hostels to be full. I'm heading north tonite after a lord of the ring tour in wellington, to taupo, where there also are alot of events going on. and also full hostels.

In wellington

its cold here.
After beeing stopped by the customs control i can conclude: they always ask so stupid questions. but i guess its their job...
there is some kind of festival going on, so many hostels and hotels are full. but its ok.just need to find out what to do until i leave in 1 week.
i want to go treeking, since the tourist fare in gothenburg said that new zealand has the best treeking in the world. to bad im only here so short.
They always have so funny combos in other countries...
It was nice...at global companies, atleast u know what u get...
NEw Zeelands north island...at the south side...
I spent some time at the toursit information...
Else they had some nice walking pathes in Wellington...
And monuments...
And the bay was calm, with some sailing boats cruising around...
I decided to go for a little "The ring tour"...to see some places where they recorded lord of the ring, which still is a huge tourist thing here in New Zeeland...
We drove around in a small bus...
Leaving every now and then...
To watch scenes from the movie...and compare to the real site...
Like from this well known spot...
And this one...
They even names some pathes after the production was made...
This is another road famous from the movie...
This is the Frodo and Sam is taking a rest...
And the guide had alot of equipment to make is look real...
People also got instructions about how to be a horse...
And from the hill it looks like this (we were told that if it was gray scale it would look cooler)...
We also visited the Weta Cave...to see cool figures and new productions...
Tintin is the newest production...
Weta is the name of the production company that Peter Jaskson uses for his productions...(or that actually produces)
HEre is the famous Gollumn statue...
And an 18 carat gold ring, made by a guy from the south island...
We ended the trip by going to the southern beach of the northen island...where you actually can see the south island some days...and now I felt really far far away from sweden...
After this, I was heading north...I took the bus, near the trainstation...where in Mcdonalds I saw this sign...
And this...does this mean "Ladies" toilet?
We drove until it became dark...I  got to see New Zeeland...

Going to new Zealand

Im on my way to New Zealand. So Annoying, the girl who let people in to the check-in forced people to print their exit ticket from new zealand...why is that? i have like 180 days or 90 depending on age... The printed charged 0.5 dollar per paper, but only accepted 1 or 2 coins...meaning that each papaer was 14 SEK each, or 60 NT...stupid country...haha

zoo today, brewery and new zealand tomorrow

today i went to a koala zoo alot of cangaroos as well. tomorrow i will visit a brewrty here in brisbane. and in the sfternoon i will go to wellington, new zealand.

in brisbane

im in brisbane, plan to go to a zoo and a brewery.

In Surfers Paradise

Im currently in Surfers Paradise in Queensland south of brisbane...the hostel had an "all you can eat" tonite...but it as not super good, it was more "eat up the food that is on the table"...i was not super full when it was over... However the waves are pretty high here.

We were picked up by a limo...owned by the hostel...by a guy who just started to work at the hostel...

It was a nice initiative from the hostels side, we asked around at the bus station for cheap hostels, and they called and checked if they had rooms...its a good tourist service here...

The famous beach in "survers paradise"...

High waves...it was alot of focues on the security...

We had to swim between the red and yello flags...

And in this car the life guards sat...

i wanted to surf, but didnt find any boards....also the waves were pretty aggressive....

The buildings in surfers paradise were also pretty high...

It looked like a modern city...

They also had interesting signs at the beach...which made me think of beach boys...

An old pic...so retro...

And some sand sculpture competition...

Funny...

Advanced...

Time to go downtown...

The waves faded...

We headed to the super market to buy some food...

But as mentioned before...we went to some "all you can eat" event hosted by the hostel...

I bought some beers aswell...

And this one...with a kangaroo on the label...can it be more australian...

An old pick of surfers paradise...

And some historical information again...

The second day in the city...it was also a limited area we could swim at...

But its ok...i never been a fan of swimming...

I also sent some postcards from here...but didnt mention that I never surfed...
A classic lifeguard tower...
And the lifeguard car again...
A traditional sand castle...so impressive...
Omg, can it be more masculine?

In Sydney second day

The day started with a free guided tour in the north of the city center. passing historical places etc. The first people came here in the late 1700...(people from UK) not considering the aboriginals... Later of that day a visit to the Bundi beach was made...and tickets for the next destinationl: Surfers paradise was made. I burned myself in the sun, even though i used sun factor 50..

We met early near our hostel, for the free guidance...

A high building that we saw from many place in the city...
And this street is famous for its timeless...many hollywook movies have been done here...like the matrix...

Swedish cider...I saw this at many places...

And a tree worth beeing protected...

This is an old building...and nowadays a tourist spot...

More swedish commercials...

Omg, the ticket machine is the one they used to use in gothenburg long time ago...

We headed to the beach later in the day...

Im not a beach person though...

And I got some pale ale, the same brand that I will buy for my brewing in sweden...

And a plce with awesome food...the Sydney fish market...
Many kinds of fishes...
And also pretty crowded...
It took a while to decide which meal to order...
But later we decided to have a full meal...it was awesome...
"For those of us who cant fish"...so funny...
Omg, china town in Sydney...
And a chinese temple...ill be damned...in the middle of a park...
And some harbour near that park...
Alot of people for beeing a normal day in february...
We later went to a tea store...
With a lot of similarities to taiwan...
Slized ice...
 And a pale ale again...

Visit the opera house

Just like Melbourne, there is a free shuttle bus in Sydney city center. It goes from the center to the harbour where the opera house is. Alot of people visit thqt place. I also tried Kangaroo Kebab. As usual the sauce is important for a good kebaba, but the sauce was not swedish standard...but it was interesting anyway. A little like Wild boar kebab...which i tried in sweden some year ago...

The famous ppera house...

Johan at the opera house...

Pose 2...

Omg, these pricks are from sweden...

Sydneys skyscrapers...

And the backyard of the opera house...

This was the last landmark I wanted to visit in Australia...
Some aboriginal in the background playing some techno music...with his didgeridoo...
Another pic of the opera house...
 And a new pose...
 And the opera house again...
A "selfy"...
We went to a tea store later...where they had "sun moon lake" milk tea...i guess it is from taiwan...
 Yummy, A kebab...
It was nice...years of waiting...
And this is the opera house by night...same same but different...
It seemed to be some kind of concert in there...
And another swedish cider advertisement...

In sydney

It is rare to see aboriginals in the south of Australia, so far i only seen them near darwin and alice springs...usually smelling sweet and drinking by night... In sydney and melbourne there are alot of asians...and alot of asian stores...even taiwanese stores... I came to sydney today at 17...omg there are so many hostels but many of them were full, if u dont wanna pay alot of money for a room u dont need. i prefer dorms, they are cheaper... Tomorrow I plan to see the opera house...its gonna b fun...after ayers rock and the opera house, u more or less done sydney..
This is my dorm room...some people lived here for several weeks...
A swedish cider add...
And some local beer...I have seen this in taiwan too...
And the gothenburg ticket machine...so nostalgic...

In canberra

I arrived to Canberra, want internet to check the DC comics store. I found that they might have closed in Australia, however i found one in Indonesia..its a pity didn't do my store research in time, then i could have bought my batman cuff links there instead... I tried Kangaroo today, it was interesting... I think i found the DC comics stores, on internet, but no one in Australia...however in Auckland...but just a post box..I hope they have a store there...i will email and find out... Australia has however a nice range of Beers, i drank a nice Ale today What surprised me was that Canberra is not a super fun city to travel in, it is calm and has a nice Mall in the city center...but that plus some historic sites is more or less what it i s... Temp varies from 15 in the night to 25 in the day, so it is more or less like a September weather in sweden. Tomorrow I will go to sydney...it will b exciting...

My bed was already used when I came to my room, we arrived super early in the morning...

Burger King in Australia is called "Hungry Jack´s"...

Nice burgers...

But small in reality...

Hungry Jack´s...

Canberra is a pretty boring city...with a mall covering a big part of the city center...

Same logo as in taiwan...for Australian steak...

Interesting beers...
We met René a girl from Taiwan who lives here...she gave us gifts...so nice...
Im not sure why though...
I wanted to try kangaroo meat...and this restaurant was famous for this meat...
 In different shapes...
 Omg, thats a nice steak...
René had a smaller piece...
I also saw some men, and one of them looked very much like Ronan Keating, I checked on his offical website if i could see where he was at this week, but without result.
They also ahd interesting lightning in the city trees...
And later in the night, they decided to get drunk...so they bought many kinds of alcohole...
I dipped daim in milk...that was awesome...
The antenna in the horizon is the govermnets house...
Im not what that antenna is though...
Old people playing some crocket...
Wow, from here this country is managed...they picked this place since it was between Melbourne and Sydney...and the name means "meeting point" or something in the local language...

from melbourne to canberra

so strange, mcdonalds is cheaper in the south of australia, while hostels are more expensive.arrived to canberra this morning, and will leave to sydney tomorrow.if anyone knows where to.find a dc comics store in australia or new zealand please tell.me.

Leaving melbourne

Im leaving melbourne this evening...didnt get to see to much of the city, was more focused of leaing this country...I will try to take a trousi bus in the city... it is tricky to get a flight to new zealand, since many flight companies wont confirm the ticket... But i got my chinese visa today, some of the counters are nice. however, it was expensive to print my papers...and i dont understand why ther want you to book hotel/flight...usualy that is free, so its just a paper with i preliminairy purchase...strange...

so annoying

i booked my ticket with bravofly.com, they cancelled my booking, but still charged my account...it was about 2944SEK, thats like 12000NTD...ayo...I hope the money will b back on my account...no i need to buy a ticet to new zealand again...

im in Melbourne since yesterday

I am currenty in melbourne. today i was applying for a visa to china. it was expensive (i needed to buy an urgent one), and the proces was kind ofcomplicated, went to the councular office first, where i also visited yesterday to save some time (hard to find it), how ever there was no info.. aoubt anything. this morning i came there and they told me that the office has moved, so almost running i went to the address they gave me...(for visa appliation), when there they told me that i needed a copy of flight ticket and booking of hotel. i needed rush to get these info since the urgent applications stops at 12 each days. and luckily i also has a paper copy of my aistralian visa, whish also was required... i need to show my booling reciept for hotel and flight ticket when i pick it up. i hope they will accept it... it starts to feel like last year when things also screwed up in the end, and i really disliked china... i will try to continue to canberra tomorrow...and buy a flight ticket to new zealand soon. else i havnt done so many things here...exepct wasted money on visa and flights tickets...

Soo annoying

Im more or less forced to go to Shanghai in end of february for school purpose...
So annoying, o expensive...a delay of my school cause that i almost caused that I failed a course...since a test in the first week followed me the rest of the semester...
And i dont think i will benefit anything from the visit, except that the team that im in will be disqualified....ayo...
we will c if the program sponsor it...so far they promise alot but dont always keep it
Now im working on my chinese visa...so complicated...this china trip will casue me alot of extra expenses :(

At Alice Springs

The main railroad between darwin and alice springs is closed due to reparation...so i took the bus south and arrived to Alice Spring this morning...it is hot here...
After finding a hostel I booked a tour to Ayers rock tomorrow...
And after that I will head to the south coast Adelaine and Melbourne...
Trucks here are very long, ome time 3-4 wagons...
The landscape was tropical near Darwin but now it is desert...
It is hard to find internet some times...
I have a concern, since my program invited me to go to shanghai in end of february...however it is not that easy to go to china, due to visa regulations...and i dont know if they will cover any expense (it is many times very inconsistent)...and they wont reply my email...
so we will c what happends, i will try to go to new zeeland after australia...if i get a visa i might go to china...to bad it is so hard to enter...

A mall in Alice springs...on the "main road"...
I tried a new beer..."cold filtered" they had alot of this one here...
