Events in taipei
I bought a monthy commuter card recbtly, the clerk had the strangest logic ever...and forced me to pay extra...its common in some cultures...maybe i will buy it at a train station next time, than an mrt station...same card...
Apparently it can not have negative saldo when u buy the card, but 1 second after the purchase u can have negative amount... :S
I also tried filippino food...it taste almost like home...
Some time later I went to a steak house in taipei
The meat was soso but the mashed potato was epic...
a night at ximen and a trip tamsui
I went to tamsui recently...but before that I went to ak12...
I tried a burger at ak12 some time before the takeoff...
I also had free mocktail...
It was ok...a riend was at a hookah bar...while smoking at the bar, me and some other cool guys tried the free drinks...
I also saw an american there....
Later I also passeb by ikea and had some swedish beer...
the day after I was heading to tamsui...and had an indian wrap at yuanshan first...
Many people in tamsui...as usual...
I also passed by a kebab place there...thats almost tradition right now...
We dran le ble dor beer and ate pakistan kebab in the sun...(i was in the shade ofcourse)...
Later we headed clsoer to the ocean...it reminded me of home...
Looks a littlbebit like gothenbug in the horizon...
I also went to a local beer bar...
Omg, i also found a local bank...tamsui bank..thats very local...
Later we headed into taipei city...and I found this easter island statue near zhongxiao xinsheng...cute...
...with some easter island info...my dream deistnation as for now (and has been since long time ago)...
Aboriginal theme at le ble dor
I recently found out that they have an aboriginal theme at le ble dor beer bars in taipei...based on Paiwan culture...
"masalut"...is on ther menu...
The staff is wearing aborignal painted clothes...but we couldnt buy it...they said they had to return them to some place when they were done with the theme...
I tried some local food while chillin with a friend who is leaving taiwan...for some MBA studies iin Holland...
Taipei chill and Apnea course
Since i was young I wantd to take a course in Apnea...
After observing a starwars place in ximen...
I went to the east coast for some free diving theory...we also went to a swimming pool, learn how to hold our breath for more than 2 mintues...i made 2.5 minutes..just for fun...
It was ghost festival at this time..so alot of fired and food donation and burning money to ghosts...
And
Day 2 we went to the ocean...and had this equipment...
and fens...we had to be able to swim 40-50m under water with fens...
acctually there was alot f equipment needed in this course...reminded me alittle bit of when i too my open wter ertificate some years ago in gothenburg...

I also parked my scooter at ruidang...it made it easier to come here...
Later I went to ximen...after the course was done for some food n drink...
I also had some afternoon beer with Mr serna campuzano...
A bike trip along the river
I joined some initerns recently on a bike trip along the river in taipei
Staring of in gongguan with some IPA..
And tried some grape juice in a peruvian restaurant...i ahve been here many times before...
I asked for extra sauce...its onc of my favorites...
Later we made a pause at the river side...
It was some event nearby...so all ubike stands were closed...and stupidly enough people could enter but not bring bikes to the bike area...or atleast foreingers...i saw some tai ppl enter with bikes...no why... :)
later we went closer to the ocean...then we eventually fnd a plalce to beek cycling towards tamsui where the ocean is.....
We also found a geocache...and finished another course at a university...I have so far been taking university credits every year since 2001...
Bai dinner for Jeremy and Carl
I attenede some dinner recently...for some intern friends...
We went to a BBQ place in ximen with free refil of beer...
I also had alot of icecream...
Some people who was mingeling...one of them seems not to be a too big fan of all u can eat...
we later went to red building...
We had negroni...
milo showed up...while Jeremy took of very fast...i think he was afraid that we would ask him to stay agains his will...i think thats a latino or asian culture thing...
Dead fish in taipei river
Recently alot of dead fish was found in taipei river...
All aournd yonghe, zhonghe to wugu...
Maybe lack of oxygen in the water...or some toxic compound that we put in the water...
All u can eat hotpot and baibai yinqian
I had a hotpot some time ago in taipei
I started with icecream as usual...
and shrips...
and fish with garlic...

Preparing photos for ARC and meeting Oliver in Taipei
I need to update my ARC recently...
seems like there are many places in taipei where u can take passport photoes...
After some photo session I went to so some stuff, and later I met up with Oliver and Alisa
At this resturant and bar near songshan...Olier treated me a dinner...sweet...
Oliver still goes to taoyuan once in a while...
A trip to waiao with bryce n friends
I got some xiaomijiu recently (millet wine)..very sweet...

An august fest at elephant mountain
There are some funny ideas going on with educationa circles where i usually hang out on working days...
I created an event for software and hardware people, and brought my stolen oktober fest glass to the meeting point at elephant mountain...willing it up with yilan beer, leble dor and other "no 1 class" beer brands...
I also got some sausage...
some friends joined up...
it was raining some time ago..so the sky was pretty clear...
Taipei 101 is still highest...

its nice...with free refil lof peanuts and bread with butter (sweet n cinnamon flavoured by some reason)...
We later headed to Zhang men beer bar, and a whiskey bar in neo 19 building...2018 continues...
A late night in ximen
My friends work in the hotel industry...so they are often busy on weekends...
Meaning on weekdays they ten to go out by night...most often to Karaoke..since its popular at this part of the world...
They drink beer and sing along...mostly an activity for people who can read chinese...or heard the songs before...but im use to this...its often what we do in the south of taiwan...
atleast sip the beer...with ice...
Yibang was there...some aboriginal friend I knows from danlin...in the south...
A rrevisit t a Sheep farm
I visited a Sheep farm in the middle of taiwan recently
It was sunny weather
Pretty nice here...reminds me of european mountains and hills...
Some New zeeland or australian guy (i think) was showing sheeps and entertaining the visitors...
They also invited the audience to attend...

I wonder why not more taiwanese created fields like this...on mountain flat land...
Maybe its an investment or knowledge issue...
They had plenty of entertainment here...

I have been outside this sheep farm manytimes before...this was first time I entered...seems like its devided into 2 parks and 1 sky walk...
...they also have alot of buildings here reminding of europe...
And alot of grass...
...and some other part of the part they had some sheep fields...i guess this was not for visitors...

and the sheeps were climbing the bushy areas...
I also had goat icecream...i think i tried it before here...
They also had a nearby market...for taiwanese food and local stuff...
"green green grassland"...i guess is the local naming of this area...
Another activity is the sky walk...a bridge that is recently built...connecting the nearby village to the sheep farm...(all near road 14...one of my favorite roads in taiwan)

I also passed by one of my favorite lakes or ponds in taiwan...it was not that much water at this time...
In nantou I spotted some religous monument aswell...
omg they spell the word for middle (zhong in pinyin), "jhong" here...
I later visited a painted area of taizhong...its the second time im here...I had an icecream of similar colour...
Maybe I will paint some similar thing in sweden some day...
