Funny traffic light
I often pass by a traffic light in taipei, where the stop sign is after the light...so it ends up that people in the end of the line has to blow their horn for the fron people to be aware....so funny....
And still people keep driving to the front...no wonder there are many accidents...
And this goes on day after day...
Funny local experience
I sometimes get insulted in taiwan, by a local. Most often the local think they give feedback, but its often very distructive comment, usualltythey say "you are ..." instead of "i think you are"....which means that they think its a "common opinion". I think many people here should go the leadership course that the swedish defense is hosting, where feedback is a big part of.... I also notice that manipulation is very common here...not sure about the reason for that.
Most scary is that some people even works with coaching and corporate business excellence and dont know this feedback methods, which results in that they become very insulting people...
I end this post by showing a written "1" that I saw some days ago, interesting variety...

Another steak house visit in zhonghe
I visited a steak house in zhonghe recently
I was here before some monthes ago
I started with fruit and some salad and cake
And added some soup and fruit
And the steak was pretty big
I also got somechinese medicine soup
Omg, i asked for medium...this looks raw...
They had alot os shrimps here
I ended with some soft icecream and chocolate
Meeting up with Jojje and two football teams
I met up with some swedes recently
At shilin, where they hang out once in a while...
I had some tap beer...

A visit to ximen hotpot
I recently went to a hotpot in ximen
I often use to go to this one some years ago
Omg, they really pimp this city with xmans decoration...but as usual thats all there is...no food, no song nothing else...
I started with icecream
And vegetables and fish...
And alot of shrimps...

I ended with more icecream...2016 continues...
Wolfram alpha
A friend recently gave me the tip to check a website that reminded him of me...
Wolfram alpha...not sure why it did that...but i tried to search for one of my favorite numbers...the square root of Pi...and it did recognize it...(another favorite number is the fibonacci quote)
One reason why its a facvorite number is cus it is a solution for the integer of e^x^2

I met my taroko friend at ximen recently
At Young man bar, cus he knows the owner..but sure what that has to do with it though...
They drank budweiser
My friend Sodai just tattooed his arm, and was in pain...
His halr korean friend Jimmy also joined after a while...
I tried some cheese potatoe from them..it was pretty good
I was also recommended a strong long island drink...it tasted like pure vodka :S
I also ordered some fried food for 140nt...
And met up with johnny and his new zealand friend..., who came from christchurch...
Also an italian guy from bolzano...
Omg...my 140nt dish seemed very small, almost like they screwed me...but its okt...this it Taiwan...no expectations...no disapointments...

2016 IAU 24H marathon
I attended a marathon some days ago
It was in Kaohsiung...the second largest city in taiwan
We ran in circles around some international sports stadium
I think they have 4-5 categories...6h, 12h, team runs and 24h
After 24h the run was over...it was pretty warm...maybe up to 30 degrees...
I didnt manage to run over 150km...but it was ok...I walk faster than others...so I manage pass many joggers, walking...
Many austrialnas were there...I became friends with this austrilan photographer...

A visit to Beast bar & grill Kaohsiung
I met up with some Kaohsiung people some days ago
An old classmate of mine lived near the love reiver
We later on went to a restaurant called Beast bar and grill
I had some burger that was a little spicy...not sure what is was...maybe taco flavour
They also had many bottles of liqour...and they were amazed when I paid in only 200nt and 20nt cash...people in south of taiwan are easy to amaze...
A night in Kaohsiung
I went to Kaohsiung some days ago...
I first went to G2 at ximen...some day before...for some mental preparation..
In Kaohsiung, a local night market was visited...
Some taiwanese kebab...
...and some juice...
I also had spagetti...since I planned to particiapte in a comaptition the day after...
I had a steak
And some extra pasta...Kaohsiung night 1 is coming to an end...
Another visit to AK12 and BBQ visit
I went to AK12 some days ago (it is in Ximen)
Not too many people there
I had my favorite 4 cheese burger, but with chocolate bread...interesting...
But maybe the chocolate bread destroyed to total flavour
I also some days ago went to an all you can eat BBQ, starting with icecream
It is a place I use to go to many times before...but they changed location and also the atmosphere...
This is a new feature..hamburger with cheese...
I also had alot of seafood...

Another night in ximen
I went to meet some friends in ximen recently
Started at bear bar
I got a strawberry drink with alot of cream
And some blue girl beer
LAter I went to G2
And had a vanilla milk tea...thats what johan drank today...
Some nights with consultants
I went with some consultants some tie ago
We started at Wendels the german restaurant in tianmu
They had a barf area, but afake one...in muhich it was real...
We also went to franks...
I had some martini...chocolate dirnk. cinnamon drink and some other strange drink...
Later we headed to room 18...
And after that to club omni...they charged full price at 3am...so incompetent...its very common here that either people dont care about customers..probably due to the high power distance culture...(want to make their mangers proud, without minding the customer)...or that they are nott considering to be smooth with customers...only do as they are told...I experienced that when I took my mba here...feels like programming a robot...so funny...

I went to a new pasta place in yonghe some days ago
A pretty small restaurant...
I had something with cheese...many asians think cheese is "heavy food"....they dont like to eat to much of it...and its pretty filling...I just cant have enough though....
Peanut butter and beer
I had another evening with peanutbutter and beer recently
A lot of protine, fat and carbs...maybe it is possible to have this as my only diet...
Best sweet n sour fish place in taiwan
There is a kuaishao place in yonghe where they have nice sweet and sour sauce with fried fish
I go here some times...
They use to be open until late hour...many locals come here to drink....
Many dishes on the menu
Some lettuce and random meat with vegetables...
And the sweet and sour dishes...it almost taste like western chinese food...
They also have some other strange food desk...
And sea food aquarium..but thats usually expensive...
I remembered I sat here some years ago with my friend Joel...when he lived in the area...

I made a quick visit to Costco recently
Many people here...but yonghe and zhonghe in taiwan is one of the most dense areas in the world, population wise..according to some local sign...no wonder...people people every where

I pay with 200nt notes alot...many times when I pay the tai often checks if it is a fake one...
Why do they always check the 200nt notes but never the 1000nt note? Statistically it should be higher risk that the 1000nt note is fake...

Funny logic
I was asked to help a friend to find a cooking course. I found one called Joys kitchen, and called them to book a class. however they were pretty expensive and their information on a review portal seemed wrong.
After some time talking, they presented their prices for the facility, and then they added the cost for teacher, and for cooking equipment. and asked if i only whished to have a room for 5500nt,(without equipment nor teacher). Why would I call to book a cooking class, if i only want a room (without equipment)? XD
Even a hostel offers cheaper rooms than for 5500NT for 2 hours... I often wonder how the peoples logic is shaped. I never found this reasoning in sweden.

Buddha's Palm 100km marathon
I went for a marathon yesterday
It was called Buddha's palm...cus we were suppose to run a route looking like a hand...
Many people met up...i think they had 8 different routes...A french guy approached me at the start..saying that this marathon was one of the toughest he heard about...since we were running on moutains..up and down...
850m was the first peak...then the others were lower...but still pretty steep...
After some 50-60km, we got to have soup and some carbs...at local restaurants...and temples
I took it rather easy...and arrived some 13-14 hours later...
My step counted only has 99km as max distance on the display...so it started over again...after 99km...
People still comming in...

A visit to ximen
I made another visit to ximen some days ago...
The the place where the mil tea taste so great...
The temperature dropped recently...forcing the tais to wear jackets...but in sweden we call it summer (it is about 22 degrees)...So most people order warm tea, i still go for the ice tea...
People often ask me where to ofind cheap hiking equipment...I often say carrefour...here a sleeping bag costs 219nt (the cheapest one)...
They have alot of other hiking epuipment too...
