I met up with Susanne recently...
...at the standard coffee shop...
...they had coffee from many places...but not from taiwan...
...I started of with some Peruvian coffee...

...Sus had some standard coffee drink...

...my second cup was from central america...
...I also passed by some mobile telecon store...which foreced people to have a phone to get a queuing number...very wierd...I told them that my phone couldnt get their advances system, so tehy manually gave me a number...

...having some curry...it was fun...
...i found out that the MRT has the chinese name for each station written twice by some reason...

CITO revisit and hongkong restaurant
I made an other attempt to visit the CITO office...
...they suppose to be open on monday and tusday only...however...they seem to be closed all the time...
...I found a "lost and found" table at the food court entrance...which seems convienient...
...later on I went to a hongkong restaurant in taipei...
...many different kind of interesting dishes...
A coldstone visit in xindian
I went to a coldstone in Xindian recently...
...it was ok...
...i picked the one flavour with peanutbutter...
...they didnt say I had the option to pick no waffle...but apparently that was an option i found out later...
...i slowly headed to gongguan...to a hotel where they had funny equations on the wall...
...I also found a family mart that was closed...
....not all 7-11 and family mart are always open...
...later on I found a 7-11 that was open...and there I found a sugar free funtional yoghurt...LP33...in a small bottle...that was rare...

...I went to some pizzeria recently...

...it was suppose to be "famous"...

I had some local food recently...
...it was in hsinchu...
...I also joined some hash event...
...and there after headed to meet mr twetman...who met up at a restaurant near his work...
...a local taiwanese place...with some international interiors...
...omg..and some "high fiber" coke...
...we had some mexian dish...(taiwan style)...
...I had a larger portion than mr Twetman...

...I went here on google street walk once...
...omg...some witch vehicle near a 7-11...but also; a geocache is hidden on this pic...
...I also went to visit the CITO (chalmers office) at NCTU...(NYCU)...
...they obviously werent in the administration building any longer...
...but the sign was still here...

...and the old office place in the library was empty...interesting...
...I had a yeguonaicha (coconut milk tea) at food court 1...
...passing the old DJ clud...where I still have the key...
...apparently the new chalmers office ins in food court 2, 3rd floor...
...in there somewhere...
...it suppose to be open monday and tuesday around lunch...so limited opening hours...
...but not even on these 2 hours it was open...
...in general one needs a card to enter the floor...but I just waited until random student opened for me...
1st day of 2024
I went to texas roadhouse recently...
free refill of bread and butter...
...and peanuts...I also had a strawberry drink...
...and some small steak...it was rather chewy...not sure why it was that bad quality...
...still american indians on the interiors...
...also funny is that in the toilet it said that i can not throw the toilet paper in the toilet (but it was obviously toilet paper)...another sign of ridig tai logic and culture :)
the trach can for used toilet paper was rather far away...not that pleasant :D
...I met my old chinese teacher later on...it was a great recatch...

I wnt to ximen recently...

...I also found 500ntd cash on the street...so I gave it to the police...
if no one claims it within 6 monthes, I get the money...(I told them where I found the cash)...

I woke up in Hualien recently...
...and visited their "famours starbucks"...built upon containers...

....some famous site in fengbin was later visited...

...some old indigenous person just caugt some wild animal in the forrest...
...later on I visited the classical kavalan restaurant in fengbin...

A trip from Taidong to Hualien
I was in Taidong recently...
...I have been here maybbe 30-40 times by now...it is a chill place...
...and today I went to a new bar...where many young locals seem to go...
...I had some non alcoholic drink...
...I asked for something with chocolate...but later was advices a pinacolada...
...I also went to a butchers market...
...people working in late night...
...I later on had breakfast...

I was doing a roadtrip around Taiwan recently...

...these places are popular nowadays...
...the had a Robusta tree...which was there before the shop opened...they claimed this was an original coffee bean from taiwan...
...they didnt have much taiwane coffee on their menu though...
...but they had local honey...
...and some thing called "vuvu"...which means grandma in indigenous languages...
...some reflection on a coffee pianting...
...they also were selling other coffee making equipment...
...I got some honey tastings...
...and some robusta beans...
...having some breakfast platter...
...they had different kinds...

My X-mas was spent in Danlin...
