East coast adventures
I was doing a roadtrip around Taiwan recently...
...having the infinit ocean by my right...
...many bikers here...i always remember when I cycled here...good old memories...
...inspecting different places of the country...
...passing by a random lake at the south east...near Taimali...super remote..I love this part of taiwan...
...also visited a newly opened coffee shop...
...these places are popular nowadays...
...the had a Robusta tree...which was there before the shop opened...they claimed this was an original coffee bean from taiwan...
...they didnt have much taiwane coffee on their menu though...
...but they had local honey...
...and some thing called "vuvu"...which means grandma in indigenous languages...
...some reflection on a coffee pianting...
...they also were selling other coffee making equipment...
...I got some honey tastings...
...and some robusta beans...
...having some breakfast platter...
...they had different kinds...
...and some fish...
...and more honey tasting...
...and a tiramisu...(4/5)...
...creamy and chocolate flavour but not much brandy flavour...
...they also had some unique potatoe...(claimed to be originally from taiwan)...
...they also had some cats...
...they name of the place (maybe they had some other coffee shop more north...as I heard)...
...the trip there after continued north...
...to some random train station that was no longer in use...
...but many locals liked to visit...
...a bug tourist attraction...
...it cost money to enter the train station though...
...and they had some coin machine...
...and people waiting for a train to pass...
...some restroom was popular...
...and after some time people started to gather up to take pics of a train...
...high excitement...
...I was told that this station was once voted to be the most beautiful trainstation in taiwan...
...tourist groups taking pics...
...post cards with photos of this station....
...and some local wine...
...and some angel wings...
...this area was closed but seems like they were making boats...
...and some plastic eggs...
...this is how it use to look like when a train stoped at this station...
...later on a visit was paid to anohter coffee shop...and I passed by this church, which was famous for having a suiss priest...
...I found local beer at the coffee shop...
...it was rather slow service but the barista was nice...
...they pasted some bike parts to the floor...
...some coffee and tiramisu...it was good..still 4/5...
...a lof ot cream but not much brandy...
...I was also served some beer tasting...from the only bottle i didnt buy...
...also I got some salt for one of the beers I bought...
...this house was said to be old and famous...

...and the east coast...
...endles sea on one side...and some hills on the other...
...and on the other side...maybe America or micronesia...
...getting closer to Taodong I passed by some bikers...I was reminded of when I cycled around the island back in 2011:ish...
...the hotel for the night in Taidong...
...some bill board at the hotel...
...I got a coffee while waiting for the hotel room key...
...later a visit to this fish resturant was paid...this fish is unique for this place...
...and all dishes are made from this fish...
...some places there u can get this fish...are maybe displayed on this map...
...they were also selling honey...
...I got a fish kebab...it was ok...
...later on some light exhibition in taidong was visited...
...and some wood art...
...i love the east coast...
