In Surfers Paradise

Im currently in Surfers Paradise in Queensland south of brisbane...the hostel had an "all you can eat" tonite...but it as not super good, it was more "eat up the food that is on the table"...i was not super full when it was over... However the waves are pretty high here.

We were picked up by a limo...owned by the hostel...by a guy who just started to work at the hostel...

It was a nice initiative from the hostels side, we asked around at the bus station for cheap hostels, and they called and checked if they had rooms...its a good tourist service here...

The famous beach in "survers paradise"...

High waves...it was alot of focues on the security...

We had to swim between the red and yello flags...

And in this car the life guards sat...

i wanted to surf, but didnt find any boards....also the waves were pretty aggressive....

The buildings in surfers paradise were also pretty high...

It looked like a modern city...

They also had interesting signs at the beach...which made me think of beach boys...

An old pic...so retro...

And some sand sculpture competition...

Funny...

Advanced...

Time to go downtown...

The waves faded...

We headed to the super market to buy some food...

But as mentioned before...we went to some "all you can eat" event hosted by the hostel...

I bought some beers aswell...

And this one...with a kangaroo on the label...can it be more australian...

An old pick of surfers paradise...

And some historical information again...

The second day in the city...it was also a limited area we could swim at...

But its ok...i never been a fan of swimming...

I also sent some postcards from here...but didnt mention that I never surfed...
A classic lifeguard tower...
And the lifeguard car again...
A traditional sand castle...so impressive...
Omg, can it be more masculine?
