I tried a new burger bar recently
LAF burger at Gongguan night market
Omg, Obama eating burger
They had some special extra dishes, but got my order wrong
but I bought their largest burger as usual
they had wifi, but it didnt work, at least not on my phone
I also had ice coffee to drink, with free refill
After that a visit to Longshan temple was made
people get some sticks or free, incents
and they burn 2 out of three in this container
They also trow some half moon shaped wooden tiles on the ground, if they get one up and one down, 3 times in a row they can get a bracelet

They also have alot of food donations, it reminded me of the temple outside NCTU, you put some fodo on a table, and later on you can eat it ot take it back
Conveniently they have an ATM in the temple
Later a visit to Ximen was made, where I saw some big doll

I went out in the taipei night recently
Passed a road where trumpets were forbidden, luckilly I didnt carry any
I later went to a local beer bar and tried "no 7" the belgian dubbel
Paid with 200 notes, strange country, they have many of them, but never use them, but just as in 2013, its the only bill I support

A dinner with Oskar
I went to a place called Drunken Monkey some days ago
Pretty small roads was passed to find it
omg, a tunnel in a house
Finally found it, Oskar wanted to visit this place, due to lonely planet recommendations
Pretty cosy
But oskar was sceptic due to that it was a foreigner who was managing it
Iskar had his Bowie shirt on
Before ordering he checked lonely planet, what they recommended
some beef dish with onion

If it is raining, dont bother walk on the side walk, either its very slippery due to marble tiles on the ground

Another day in Hongkong
It was an early morning in hongkong
super many philippino girls were hanging at the city center
not sure what they were doing but I was told that they use to hang around alot, I can recall they are heavily christian, maybe they just came from church
I was heading to this place,,,it was said to be famous
very long queue
after 30-40 minutes queuing we got a seat
they often ask ppl to squeeze

and tried to pass by the philippino ladies for a next meeting
at this coffee place
I met up my cousin here, his recommendation
many kinds of cake
i had some special opera cake, and a normal coffee
my cousin showed me some swedish store in hongkong
and some postnord app, to send postcards (he also had some step counter bracelet)
we also inspected hongkong financial center
and this interesting store, it was famous for international food
and a quick visit to this famous cake store

Air strike monday?
It was announced that monday 13,30-14,00 some military air strike exersice will take place,,,

,,,well, didnt seem to go that well,,, I saw ppl walking as normal,,,I guess ppl in front of authorites will act as it was important,,,since the power distance is so high here in asia,,,
I also became victim on the taiwanese pavement again,,,many lose tiles,,,waiting for someone to step on them when its raining, or just rained,,,I wonder why this never bothered me in sweden/europe,,,
Day hike in the hood
I made a revisit to Mama sui recently
Last time I went here for beer brewing, now I made a city hike
coffee form latin america,,,
some ppl walking and also mingeling along the path,,,some ppl were killed here some years ago,,,taiwanese said it will make the place more famous,,,not sure why, but it seemed pretty popular,,,

A visit to carrefour again
I used to buy things in Carrefour 4 years ago, when I was in taipeiand then, as well as now I was stunned about the logic here its not so much a complain more than an observation, Cus in Europe we have something called Comparison price, which is useful when you want to compare the price between two items at the store, preferably the comparison price is "currency per kilo" or some other unifiied weight
but in taiwan, atleast at carrefour, they offer an interesting option, they just put the price of the item, devided by the weight of the package,,,
so if i wonder what a 465g jar costs, i can jstu check down to the left,,,

Curretly taking a coursie in philosophy of education
Read some article about how reasoning is affected by the country culture and further is shown in the educaion. Makes me think of the ancient chinese culture, where "Learn by heart" is taught, could be a result of the "listen to the emperor"...and futher use "no why" to ppl who ask questions...
...in the western world more "why" and "understanding" is used...
The course teach thatt from a philosophical perspctive, the arabic spring occured when a system (democracy) was applied in a non democratic society, or with ppl who are not a part of the democratic thinking
Maybe it can b complicated when old dictator or non democratic scoeties suddenly reach a level when they need to break free from the collectivistic thinking and adapt to individualistic mindset
Hardwell (and Tony Junior) in Taipei
I was heading for a Hardwell concert yesterday...
...passing this bridge in northern taipei...
...to Dajia park...
....omg a long queue...
...adfter 20 mins I found that it streched even longer...
omg a guy with a volcom cap...
,,,and a fixed gear bike...without brakes...epic...
after 40 minutes or something of queueing we ere closed to the concert place...
...many locals bringing water and alcohol...
...not sure who was playing when I entered the area....
...they also had some systen that u had to pay for some drink tickets at one place and buy at aonther...but no information about it...so many ppl were queuing for drinks for 10 mins, and then were told that they have to queue somewhere else to get "drink tickets"....frustrating...
At the coupon tent things were described..but this test wasnt at easy to find...
...a drink ticket...so exclusive....
...they only had corona...
...at another bar they had whisky coke...and at a third bar they had redbull...
...at 18-19 it became dark...
...some "VIP" place...for ppl who pays extra much...
Many ppl had cellphones recoding the concert...but it was forbidden to bring "big cameras"..what that now means...
...after some hour Hardwell entered the stage...
Hardwell is ranked number 2 in the world at the most recent rank (this list changes often)...
...he played man songs...but his style was to have the vocals for the first 1 min...then he added some uplift sound...and then some minue of heavy kick...this was done over and over...

He also played armin van buurens pingpong song...some avicce and swedish house maffia...
I got some light-dark...that was in blue and white...

...after 2-3 hours of playing time reached 21...and I strategically went to the exit of the area...I guess it gona be a long queue out else...

Here they also gave you drink tickets...but the entrance fee here was very expensive for being a nightclub...

Tony Junior was on number 119...on mag 150...but I think he was far more entertaining than hardwell...and his songs was also slightly better...(even though he might not have make the remixes himself)...
They had moregirls dancing and some other effects during the show...
...oskar compalined bout he drinks...the bartender logic was that for the drink tickets one can only get beer...even if water and softdrinks were cheaper...after discussing some minutes with the robot mentality staff..they agreed that it was a stragne rule and gave ppl what they wanted...oskar often refer this local logic with the book catch 22, where ppl say that they see things twice...in some kind of "dont think or ask, just do as u are told" logic...
...he got barely any coke in his glass...90% ice...
Tony Juniior had some starnge guy on the stage...with a suit wathcing him...
...sometimes the suit guy sat behing Tony Juntion...hiding...

A short visit to Maokong gondola
I paid a short visit to Maokong some day ago...
...I had to take the gongola to get there...
...u need to be aware for column if i go there...
..."maokong gongola cares for you"...
...just like in China (beijing) locals have beneficials compare to non citizens...

Omg...Gogoro...the solution of stoping the millions of taiwanese polluting the air every day...its an electrical scooter, where you instead of fueling up, just pick a new full battery at many places in taipei...thus ready to go in some second...I heard its expensive...hopefully the government can adjust that problem, to hinder ppl who prefer convenience before a clean environment to destroy their country...

Ubike in Taipei
I borrowed a Ubike recently...
...they are availble at many places in taipei...
...and aimed for the Riverside park, its a long path...going alog the rivers in the city...
The sky was taiwanese-blue...meaning pretty white...
...the path had pretty nice quality...
...and many bikers on a day like this...
...some bike map...most roads on thie map goes along the river...
...This time i was heading to Danshui..or tamsui as they nowadays call it...
...tricky..the locasl often walk in the uphill...blocking the path...so its hard to keep a good phase...

...and some old container that now is a cafeteria along the riverside...
...some boats...its pretty rare..many cus many locals dont like water activites...
...after some while i reached Guandu...

...many locals seem to go here...most take car or scooter...car is very slow...since taipei is a multi million ppl city, and many of them try to hit the country side when its weekend...(scooter can often pass by the queuing cars)...

...closer to Bayan...and more hot areas...but not that smelly...I think this hotsprings are not sulfur based...

I joined my friend anders to some bar recently...
...he wanted to go to some taiwanese resturant to start wtih...seems like it was pretty popular...

I paid a quick visit to ikea in taoyuan recently...

...omg, in taoyuan they have vacuum packed brew coffee..and they havnt covered the "origanic" part of the coffee...

An all you can eat vist at ximen
I paid a short visit to ximen recently for an all you can eat...
It was recomended from a servant at a burgerbar I went to recently...
...free wifi...
...and alot of fish...
...and ice cream...

...and some bubble show...
...I started with some icecream....
...and later on some fish...
...since some ferry recently broke poisoning the water in northern taiwan...I hope most of the fish from ehre comes from the water tanks in the restaurant...
They als had san miguel...or atleast their label on the beer box...

Beer evening
I tired another local beer some day ago...
...it was not as dark as I thought...but ok...kind of taste like the rest of the other local beers...
...I also tried this classic but with amber flavour...its cheaper than in the resturant, but still this brand is rather expensive...
...I had it with peanut butter...
...this is a beer bar I like...yilan maitian...
...barley beer (damai)...
...i had it with some cheese sticks...
...and some chicken...
150nt for half a liter...thats much cheaper than Le ble d´or...
