A trip to XIaowulai waterfall, and baibai party with the swedes

I paid a visit to Xiao wulai (little wulai) yesterday (wulai means hotspring in Atayal language (an aboriginal tribe from nothern taiwan))...
Wulai is easily accessable from Taipei, however, Xiaowulai one needs to go some hours to reach...since its on another side of a mountain...(or one can river trace I heard)...
Many people went here this day...
And many places to visit..but many people wanted to see a waterfall...from a transperent bridge...not sure why...
This was the path to the view from the waterfall base...
With some metallic stairs...
And some locals swimming..
Up there somewhere is the waterfall...
It was a 10 minutes walk in 30 degrees...
Omg..there is the waterfall...
Pretty big...
With some old temples that one can see the waterfall from...
It was a pretty small river right now...
And some smaller waterfall over the first one...somethere there the transperent brdge is...
Not sure which waterfall is the biggest in taiwan but this seemed pretty big...
From the road one could also see it...
Later on I went to taipei 101...for some all u can eat...and drink...
Many swedes joine up...
Patric was the one who announced it...
It is one of my favorite ones...
We were 9 people so they gave us 2 tables...I walked between the tables..its fun to mingle around...
Patric has striped shorts, pretty fancy...
Omg, so weird...they had many jars with chocolate etc at the ice cream bar..but only 1 was for eating, the rest was for decoration...how wants forbidden food as decoration?
Later on we went to a nearby bar...where I had this IPA:..
I was told that they also have local beer but it was out of beer this day...
Most beers were about 242 nt (or 220 nt plus 10% service charge)...
This guy was the bartender...Stanley 18 years old...
Later I also had an Hoegarden...
Later Joel insited of visitiing a night club...
We were heading to Club Halo...
But ended up at Club Spark...never have high expectations in taiwan...or anywhere else...
They often encourage people to spend money here...and they try to have a luxurious attitude...
More girls shoing everyone someone who bought champange...
OMg...broken sofa...
Joel was happy..
And drunk...
More sparkling wine bottles in the air...
Joel also bought some champange...but no girls holding up the bottle with a light...
Some picture taking...most people here were celebrating some event...the foreingers went here cus it was saturday...
Some guys who couldnt stand the pressure...
And some numbers sharing...business also on the freetime...

All you can eat near Taipei 101

I went to neo19 last night...
To their top floor...or something...
They have wine...
And ice cream...
And wine with beer...
My friends went all in on meat...
I went all in on shrimps...
I had to order many times...since they didnt understand how many i wanted...
Alfred had his karate bandana...
I tried to eat alot of fruit...
Alfred brought some transformers verison of monopoly...
The staff prepares wine glasses for us...but they left them filled...so it was a little vinegar touch on the wine...
Same french wine as last time (but no year on the label)...
It was only the foreingers who drank beer...no wonder they afford to offer alcohol...
Omg...flying lanterna in the ceiling...
We played the transformers game until they closed...
15 people, no beer or wine...
Alfred enjoyed the beer...
Alfred has this thing to put a snus in the urinal...so intersting...

All you can eat and Drink in Banqiao

I just paid a short visit to FE21 in Banqiao...
On the 12th floor they have an all you can eat and drink...
This is the name...
Ad this is the price...
Many dishes...
Mostly steak and sushi...
I went all in on pistage nuts...
All in!
And some desserts...this time I did not eat that much sweets in the beginning...and since I came rather late i didnt have too much time for just picking around...
Omg...15 people or 1000kg, welcome to light weight taiwan...

Wednesdays event...

I started the wednesday by going to one of my favorite All you can eat, in Banqiao...
It seems to be a successful chain store...
They have nice ice cream...
Else I went all in on sushi, nuts, mango and cheese...
...and pizza...
I had my 30 second camera with me...
...what did Johan eat today?...
I ate all their nuts...
...and some brownie...
Later on I took the bus to Hsinchu..w wet bus...
...not sure why..but the rood was leaking...
As usual the AC was on...even if the outside temperature was 12 degrees...(it seems to be a sign of luxury)...some even plugged the AC hole...
I tried some swedish Somersby...
And I also donated a red lamp to the DJ club...which I visited...
And gave a good friend of mine, a birthday gift...
He was playing music at the DJ club for a while...
Many people were there...but they have a new ruel..so the shut off the electricity at 10pm...
So then no one can stay...
I was also wearing my 30 second camera...
Martin, my swedish friend was also there...
At 10, everyone gathered outside...and had nowhere to go...
The swedes wanted to go downtown...so I joined up for a while...
I had a pinacoloda...it was "soso"...
At Barfly...a relatively new place...(some years old)...as far as I know...
I late rin the night tried Popcorn Chicken...not sure why it was called that...since i never felt any popcorn flavour...

Friday night...

A new guy showed up at my chinese class...
He is form japan, and works with gardens...
After class I headed to taipei 101...(to the neo19 building)
Kristoffer lives nearby...we went to a hotpot with free beer and wine...
And nice desserts...
Passion fruits and cakes...
This wine was from france...but no year on the label...
The drinks for the night...
The staff put up a new table for the dishes we ordered...
We went all in for beef and sheep...
Skål Kris!
I asked the waiter if he was aboriginal...he was not...he looked a little like it...
They had both Mövenpick and Häagen-Dazs ice cream...
A very stron waiter offered to help out, with takeing the ice cream...so nice...
The ice cream here was very nice...
They are open 11.30 in the morning to 5 in the morning...a perfect place to go after party...
And the shrimps are the doulbe size companre to the ones I get in ximens all u can eat...
I had many shrimps...
The waitress asked us to leave after 2 hours...she wanted to clean the talbe...
I helped her a bit...
Kris also showed his wine application...
You take a picture of the label...and it identifies it, and gives you some ratings...
But this label was a little hard, since it was no year...but we still found it...
He also told me about googles translation application which is free, that is almost better than plecco...
I will download that one...
Next stop was 7-11 for a new beer...
We went to kris roof top...it was nice...
'
He lives near taipei 101, and som high ways...
But tonight Taipei 101 was dark...notsure why...
Later I passed by the night club Myst...many drunk people...
And s sports car...thats important intaiwan, if you want to impress people...that you have a car...

Last night I was introduced to a new All you can eat restaurant in Taipei main station...even their General manager attended the table...
Many people were heading to the movie at the same floor, including some classmate or mine...
This is the restaurant...they have 9 off these in Taiwan...
It was a little like "Stena lines" buffet in sweden...alot of things...
I started with dessert...
I could pick the fish by myself...thats very rare nowadays in taiwan...but highly appreciated...
Also many other kinds of food...they change the food assortment every second month...keeping the most popular things...
And the crabs here are better than at other places...since they actuallt contain meat...
And nice cheese browns etc...
It was free beer...4 different kinds...
And some special dishes that had to be ordered from the kitchen...
I ate alot of ice cream here...
And finished the meal with some japanese beer...

I need to have my thesis adjusted by tomorrow...it was perfect to fix this on the bus...
The Hsinchu river was actually a river today...
Some random school girls wanted to sell me pens for their school funding...I didnt need a pen, but offered them cash, but they didnt want...
The first stop was a All you can eat and all you can drink restaurant...it was awesome...
Alos of sushi...
Nice desserts...
Fish...
Free wine (french and spanish...)...and steaks...
And taiwan beer...
Sea food gratin...
Rare meat...
Ice cream...
Chocolate fontain...
