Weekend events in january
I had alot of meet from solikyl that I fried recently...
I dont think it is too good for my body...but i ate most of it at the same meal...I saved on slice for later..
I also got mushrooms fried for me...with some additionals...
It was a fairy sunny weekend with alot of drizzling rain
Time to take up the bridge...
I left some parts to dry...before I covered them with some tarp...

A visit to a local pizzeria
I passed by a local pizzeria in gothenburg recently...
They had nutella desserts...
White nutella...
I had alot of olive oil on my pizza...
It was ok...
...this is the name of the place...the waiter spoke only english...or maybe also italian..

I also had an italian beer...

Spring events in Gothenburg
I saw some spring flowers recently...
Maybe due to the recently warm weather...
The sky is on fire by night...days gets longer by 10 minutes per day at some areas in sweden...
Hamburgers in gothenburg
I went to have some hamburger recently
I started at hisingen...at kville for some burger and local beer...
I also delivered some jade stones...
I had a pizza with alot of cheese...
I desinged the hamburger myself
Since it was a hamburger buffet...
Later on I got some other hamburger...
And later on antoher hamburger....at 7an...shicen calls people from stockholm the same as a chokolate drink called Pucko...
I also had some mashed potato...
Some interesting restroom was also in the area...
Soo hard to find blue label
I have spent some time to find Jonnie Walker blue label...
They have some wierd offers...once is a colourful bottle for 1000-2000 NTD more...but also they have a 200ml bottle, which cant be bought...onlyreceived if ou buy a bigger bottle...but most stupid is that if you buy the bottles...the staff tells you that you have to finish the bottle before landing in china...for transfer...no logic what so ever...its like1.5 liters of whisky...on a 2-4 hour flight...
I also found a Daniel Wellington stand...
Ad exhibition about some taiwanese birds...
and other cultural stuff...
And same as last time...aboriginal stuff...

I also got to know about a new mountain...

I met up with my chinese teacher recently...
She says im the only old student that keeps in touch with her...she also thinks im very colourful...what that now means...
I randomly looked for a coffee store nead zhongxiao xinsheng...and ended up at a place I have been before...they also had beer...
Nice coffee...the manager loved gothenburg and use to go there once in a while...pretty funny...
I bought these 3, which were locally made...
I later visited this store...which i use to visit some year ago...
I also bought some milk tea at a tibetean resturant...I got it for free...it was nice...
Later I also bought some stones...
And ended up at a japanese restaurants with some ex coworkers...2020 continues...
Random events in Taipei
I usually dont eat that much breakfast...it was rather a brunch...
I later found a car looking like the mask of ironman...atleast colour wise...
I had a beer and later I found a vegan restaurant...
And went to a coffee shop that a frend recommended...
It was called "the normal"...
They had plenty of coffee types...
And alot of equipment...to brew coffee...
I had 2 of the ones the guy workiing there recommended...
I later on got some cups for free...not sure why...
I met my software friend Andrew...he said im kind of the person who gets things for free...he might be right...

We headed to some culture park later and some art exhibitions...
I was here some years before...in S.Y.S. memorial hall basement
Some students having an exhibition...(seems like there are always student paitning here)...
Later we headed to Zhangmen brewery...for a nice roof top...
Later I headed to an indisan resturant...but it didnt taste that much indian...atleast not all curry dishes...

A revisit to a coffee shop north of Chaozhou
I was north of Chaozhou, in Taiwan recently...
Looking for a nice coffee shops...
And ended up here, a store on road 24:
I usually have an open minded approach when finding new places...and maybe I apply the same mindset...causing that I find the same place over n over...since I was here 5-6 years ago too:
They had some aboriginal stuff...
And both international and taiwanese coffee....

A night in Danlin
I passed by Danlin recently
And went drinking...mostly beer...
Some I bought in Yilan, the rest at a nearby convenience store...
They made some BBQ...it was nice...
I also brought some kavalan whisky...(small bottle)
And ate more fish...
A trip to Lisong hotspring
I went up on road 20 recently...
Following some route advise online and also checking with some locals parked on the road uphills...

After some 10 mins run from road 20 I reached a path (before it was mainy a concrete road)...
It was ropes all wthe way down...many locals said it was 40-60 minutes walk down...
I took a pair of gloves...so that I could head downhill faster..., and it ended around after 15-20 minutes...photos will be udated later...

A trip by Fengbing and Ruishui coffee
It was a sunny day...
A nice morning with alot ot polynesian people nearby...
I got 2 kind of bananas "xangjiao" and "bajiao"...
I was asked to help with some farming...
This seems to be a rice machine...
I also got some rice cookie...
Omg...an AC called Hohan...almost like the lord of the ring name Rohan...

Step one: to filter some of the dirt...
It was several kilos...
Luckily I was strong, so I could speed up the process...
...and tilt the whole bag...
next step was to put the rice into the rice machine...
and it will peal the rice...
It was a process...manual work...impressive...
...alot ot rice in the end...
I also took a walk in the garden...among all the tropical fruits...
The rice was pealed a second time...and after some time it looked like rice...
I also took my gifts with me...
and passed by a art gallery...
some people were planning some exhibition and wooden cabin...
They also did some other wooden handcraft...
...they also had a bird cage with a cat upon it...not nice for the bird...

I ordered some local coffee...it was nice...

Seemingly the same coffee as everywhere else...
A road trip in Taroko and hualien
I drove on road 7 and road 8 recently...
Enjoying the mountains of taiwan...
I had a permit...but did not intend to climb any peak this time...
Just walk to the trail entrance of Tarako national park, the path to Nanhu shan and Zhongyangjianshan
It was not that far...just a 1.5-2km...

I also found some neetle lookalike plants...also itching when touching...
Most routined hikes take a shortcut via some farm when heading to the trail entrance...I saw plenty of monkeys here...
...they seem to feast on the cabbage...

...I also later on...headed uphills and stopped on one of the high 7-11...and found a new kind of jonnie walker...
...omg..thye also had le ble dor...impressive...
I was here last time with my brother...(in huanshan)
I also stoped nearby lishan to fuel up...
..aybe the highest gas station in taiwan...
...omg ..lishan has a family mart now...a recently opened one...
they also have a 7-11...is this the highest in taiwan?...

Passing by Bilu...I was recommended this place by a friend (even though she only been to taiwan for 1.5 years)...
...they had some high and old tree here...

...even if it was high up on a mountain far away from any water...it was still a sign about not to fish or to swim...

one of th eoldest trees in the world is in taiwan...but it is not at this place...
...also they had some old fashioned telephones...
They were emptying the local tourist house...but still it was possible to enter...and I saw this map...or road 8 east...(the west road of road 8 is closed)...

Later I headed to a taroko aboriginal restaurant...
...with some interesting art...

they had some nice drink...

It was a nice place..
Most things were from the mountain..even the clams...
Later on I headed to a kavalan aboriginal tribe on road 11...where I enjoyed some of the Jim & dad beers I bought some day before...
A quick visit to Sileng hotspring
I visited Sileng (silong) hotspring recently...
...on road 7 at some 58.5km mark...
Easy to go wrong...since there are more than on path going down...last time I went to Cory...but found the right path when leving...
It was pretty steep...but still ok...
They had some red marks to show where not to walk...
at some resting place they differentiated between 2 hikes...on was 30min to sileng, the other one was 300(!?) minutes long...with some warning about slippery path...
...some huge trees on the way...
...after some 20-30 mins we reached the river...and found the hotspring...we had to ross a river to reach it...
...it has been rainy recently...so the stream was tricky..but there was a rope to support...
Some taiwanese and germans were joining up...
Someone put up a taiwanese flag at the top...

I also passed by some coffee looking berries...they were bitter but eatable...
...I got aboriginal support...to understand what to eat etc...
...next visit was south but uphill to taroko national park...
A trip to the east of taiwan (Yilan and Datong)
I am starting a shot road trip in taiwan
Taking the bus to yilan...

I was driving car so I just intended to take away...
It was empty...but it was a thursday..so no wonder....

I later visited an aboriginal village near road 7...a village i visited many times before:

And had some local food...
...including sweet sausage...
I also got some omellette...the road trip continues...south on road 7...

Later I met up with Gustaf and Anders at some restaurant near dongmen...
Gustaf is vegetarian...so we had some vegetarian food...

...I was wearing a "new year tie"...
...later I headed to some coworkers...and had some cake...
We also saw the fire works...millions of tais were all near east district in taipei...chaos in the mrt...
It was wierd managed party, with people disapearing easily...however I headed to ximen...
I had some cinnamon drink...at my faorite place g2 paradise...2020 continues...
