Saisiyat midget event (Day 2)

I woke up on a mountain, on the road to one of my old favorite moutnain "daba jian shan".

I helped some neighbour with garden work of some kind...
We also got some loca breakfast
And mingled more with the local family
I later proposed to visit a local coffee place...
I also had some pizza bun...or something
a rainy day at alice coffee place...i went here some monthes ago...
omg...fortunate coffee...sounds good...
Next stop some budda statue...
The water was very good....
This coffee store was also interesting...and wished us mutual sucess...
they even decorated the coffee...
I had some taiwanese coffee from Alishan...
We also had time to stop the car shortly to take a pic of the buddhe statue...
Many places says they have the "biggest buddha statue in the world"...
The interns also took pics...
Many times, at different places in asia i hear "this is the worlds largest buddha"...i also heard this for this statue...

Later we tried to get back to the hisnchu party, but hte road bas blocked...and we had to park the car and take shuttle bus...
wierdly enough this shuttle bus took us to the miaoli event, and not back to the hsinchu event...

Many police were checking cars...on the road...
After 20 minutes drive...we reached the point for the ceremony...
Pretty cool...
We also mingelled around here...and bought some traditional clothes...
Omg...even the scooters had grass around it to protect from the midget spirits...
I also got some new grass on my arm...
Many locals with traditional dresses...
And later on the cereony also was abut to start...
I had my west on...
After a while people started to dance...
And many people were wearing traditional clothes...
 
There were also people from each family who were carrying some backpack with chains that made noise when they shaked their but...to keep the phase with the dancing...
Many people joined up here in miaoli...
Red and white seems to be the colour of this tribe...
And tha traditional sun logo...
People wer dancing for several days here...
After a whiile we were invited by a local guy..he treated us local food...
His english was also rather good...
They also had people there keeping the fire alive...
People were sleeping in tents everywhere...
I later on had a beer...
People kept dancing...
There was some fight at the night market...and the ambulance needed to help 2 guys...
Some logo at the entrance.e..
People were suppose to dance for another day...2018 continues...
