Chinese new year 2017: Taidong
I paid a visit to my old friend Johnny recently in Taidong
He picked me up in his car...
The Mcdonalds sign in taidong is not as sealed as the one in Hualien, it has an extrabar for earthquake and typhoon stabilization
We went to check up on his relatives
And met his cousins
We also passed by a local beer bar north of taidong
On road 11
they had many kinds of beer...but not everyone were available tonight
they also had a bonfire...pretty cosy
This one was with ginger and vanilla flavour...mostly ginger
I also tried some cranberry mead
It was strong as wine...with cranberry flavour
They also had handcraft things...like last time i was here...

We also went to taidong downtown...
And visited some random restaurant
They even had a special english menu
I had my friends favorite dish...some fish dish
Omg...some one named a parking lot after themselves..
Taidong has alot or airballoon decorations
Later I tried this taidong beer...i think i had it before in taipei
Johnny felt pain in his eyes and put on sun glasses inside...he looked like the thai guy from from the "hang over" movies
Day 2 we chilled at johnnys apartment....
He played some music
And we had some breakfast
Omg. a car with spikes...
We went to a japanese restaurant after breakfast...
To eat lunch with johnnys family...
They had sushi..
And some fish....
We later on went to some art park...they seem to have many art parks in taidong...
I was here some year ago...
We also went to the coast line...
And to my favorite coffee shop...
They have interesting decorations....
And some quotes...
Their english menu was funny
They also served water in vodka bottles...
I also had a cinnamon bun
And white chocolate coffee..
From the coffee stores backyard it is possible to reach the bike lane that goes around taidong
Many people are walking here
They were selling some decorations including dutch sandals...
After that we left and passed by some nice building in taidong...
And crossed johnnys favorite bridge...
...and we also went for a walk..its very peaceful in taidong
Sugar apple trees....
Omg...the stairs had extra smalll stairs...maybe for dogs...
And they used cactus trees to hinder people to enter the gardens...
Later on I had to leave taidong...heading more south...
Omg...green island was spotted from the train...
