A short trip south
...I went down south recently...
...bought local honey on the road down...
...checked in to a cat hotel...
...they had no staff...but plenty of cats walking around...
...and cat sandals for the guests...
...and a lot of cat decoration...

...cats in daytime...
...it was a little smelly...and fat fur at many places...also the breakfast peanutbutter jar was empty...
...but it was an interesting theme...
...next stop...this restaurant called "Little cuba"..
...a burger bar...
...Taiwan has some superhero theme on their coke cans for the moment...
...I had some latino side dish...
...and a burger...
...they also had a winter soup...but only available in the winter...
...I later on saw a sign saying "ugly beauty"...interesting...
...I also passed by a coffee store...but the prices were pretty high...and they didnt have taiwanese coffee...
...omg...I also passed by the place where road 20 starts at the west part of Taiwan...I have been here many times before...
...a clear mak saying "0km"...I guess at Ruisshui the road ends...
...later on an oyster all you can eat place was visited...
...so funny..locals says that in taiwan they can not eat them raw...but if you pic the oysters outside of Taiwan, they are eatable...
...I finished 4 of these baskets...
...usually they are BBQed...so that they open...but the raw ones they force open...
...I dipped them in wasabi...as I ate them in Vietnam...
A president installation participation
...I was in ximen recently...for some presidental installation...
...having a quick breakfast at a hotel in ximen...but I tried not to drink and eat too much...
...half the neighbourhood was closed for public...
...they required some invitation letter to enter...
...many people sitting nearby the presidental palace...
...they mixed indigenous groups, sports thletes etc..
...I found myself wearing the same bag as these Amis girls...
...I also got some charcoal filtered water...
...some soldiers practicing... 
...and many people mingeling around...
...omg; I spotted my old friend Jojje among the crowd...
...he was probably here reporting about the ceremony to swedish news papers etc...
...I was told that 4 swedish politicians also were invited...
...they also had these colors on striped everywhere...
...people also got these hats for free...
...by some reason...the seats in front of me, that were reserved by some group, were later taken by the people siting behind me...they just removed the other groups name...interesting behaviour...
...some airplance flew over us...very close after some time...
...and some people started to speak on stage...
...they started to show some movie after an hour (but we could hear the sound from the start...I think they just forgot to turn the display on)...
...some people were laughing when the opposition leader Hanguo Yu was on picture...
...the display could open...for people to come forward from the back of the stage...
...after a while some mucisians started to play...
...and the new and old president apeared...
...more military people came forward...
...and some amis group...
...and some hakka hourse...with some transvestites on top...
...it also had smoke apearing from different body parts...
...it felt a littlebit like taken from the pride parade...
...some dancers ran around among the people...
...by some reason people went crazy for these aminals...
...and they gave away onions and other vegetables...which also caught peoples attention...
...they also presented the presidents and ambassarods beside the stage...
...mainly from small countries world wide...
...some belgian guy standing up a lot taking pictures...
...they also showed different kind of helicopters passing by...
...and later it was time for the president and vice president to step forward...
...and some airplanes...
...and the president danced on stage with some performers...
...and some textiles were wrapped over us...
...the textiles colours matched the stripes on the stage...
...and more dancing on stage...
...and some more airplanes...
...and more dancing...
...the invite said: "wear formal dress, black suit or traditional dress"...but many locals came in casual dress...
...such as in white T-shirt...
...far away from stage...the non invited could see the stage...
...it was all at the presidental palace...
...many chairs etc to be removed after the event...so that traffic can start again...
...I later on went to a Taiwan DageDa store...it is always tricky to find where to take the queue number here...
...I ended with some restaurant visit...

A road trip in hsinchu
I made a road trip in Hsinchu area recently...
...passing by a slot with vegetables...
...I also passed by Costco...for some chicken...
...later on I went for my best burger...it was 365ntd...i think they increased the price...
...but it was good...
...I had it with a non-alcoholic mojito...it was nice...
...I also helped with some exhibition installation...
...and lived in a fully automatic hotel...barely any staff...
...check in and check out was on a vending machine...
...it was close to ximen...
...I also walked by the presidental palace...where the prepared for some president installation...
...many orchids here...
...I also passed by a pizzeria...
...italian?...
...it was ok...
...I got my pizza on a spring...
...it was ok...
...many wooden sculptures were later spotted at CKS memorial hall...
...many people gathered...
...for some concert...with many religous americans...at it seemed
...I also bought a burger...
...and some non alcoholic mojito...
A new burger bar try out in Hsinchu
I found a new burger bar recently...
...it was very close to the train station...
...they had plenty of burgers...
...and some local beer...
...i tried their stanard burger...it was ok...
...I later on went to a hotpot...
...it was not "all you can eat"...
...atleast not meat...but it was free refill of icecream...
...it was ok...
...I ended the session by finding a christmas tree...it is very common here that the x-mas decriation is used the year around...due to lack of "20-dag knut"-tradition...

A trip to Taizhong (including Dakeng trail)
I went to Taizhong recently...
...finding some geocaches and chillin around...
...visiting this "popular" place...
...they had plenty of night food...
...I had some dumplings and dimsum...
...I also saw a KTV...which is famous for offering happy ending...
...I also saw that the hotel rooms in some places had maps over the city as wall paper...pretty fun...
...I also passed by some hiking trail on the way...
...it was a famous one called Dakeng...
...they had some 10-11 different trails...
...and some long market...
...I thinkg number 1-5 are the famous ones...but at the hiking time I didn know this...
...I asked some woman which one was most popular..and she directed me to number 9...which was a normal path...
...with some maps...

...number 10 was also normal...
...with warning for snakes...
...sweaty...
...I had some mango ice later on...
...with strawberry...
...and figuered that I wanted to do number 1-5...so I headed to number 5...
...I had to drive some time...(passing by some mushroom farms which I visited some 5-10 years ago)...
...number 5 started at a high altitude...
...and reminded me ot Nimis in Arild (Sweden)...
...many logs creating some stairs...
...pretty fun to walk...
...upp and down...
...I didnt walk that far...
...some dog was resting on the path...
...It was possible to walk 2-3 of them at a time...but I didnt have time at the moment...
...some heart starter in the middle of the forest...

Costco and coworker rendez-vouz
I went to costco recently...
...trying some new sandwich...
...sometimes I get the impression that they want to have the "home made" feeling of their food...
...it is usually as if I could have done this sandwich myself...
...I later on tried different kind of fruit...
...many kinds were offered...
...I also saw an image of a barrel for making beer...
...my friend from germany dropped by...and inspired me to make more apple wine...

...I did a visit to Jiayi and Taizhong recently...
...I noted that hotels still dont use room numbers with the number 4, in general
...I also passed by some all you can eat oyster place near the ocean...
...from the ocean they said...
...strangely enough they said that I could not eat them raw...I think this is one of the "no why" logic thing...cus I did eat some raw without anyproblem...
...plenty of wasabi like I had them in Vietnam...
...we also had some fish balls...

...I made a trip east recently...
...taking the bus to some airport...which is tricky since it was very full...atleast the driver said so and refused people to enter...
...but plenty of seats were free...

...and some of the flowers I saved inside during the winter was put out...since the temperature was expected to be warmer now...
