A revisit to modern toilet cafe
I went to a modern toilet restaurant in Hsinchu in 2008...
recently I went to an other one in Ximen...
...I dont really see the fun in this place..except that the music was good and that they ahve alot of chocolate dishes...
They have many rules...such as "pay upfront" etc...strange...
I had a chololate slized ice with some sauce...
A visit to Gudetama restaurant
I went to gudetama restaurant recently....
...and passed by moomin cafe on the way...
...i didnt have the chance to try the moomin food...
...the Gudetama restaurant was popular...
...it means "lazy egg" or something in japanese...
...It is very popular in asia...
I had a burger and soup...it was pretty good....
A visit to the alpaca cafe
I paid a visit to an alpacacafe some time ago
...at the north coast of taiwan...

...omg, they had a batman pillow...
...a d alot of animals inside their porch...

They also asked visitors to not put things on the tables in reach of the animals...

Beast runner Trailrun 2017
I joined a trail run in Puli some weeks ago with Taiwan beast runners...
Seediq theme...
They had a long list of equipment I had to bring, to not get disqualified...so my luggage was very heavy...I later found out that not many people brought everything of that...
We were chasing these peices...
It was in the lasnd of Seediq, Atayal and Bunun people...this uy was bunun....
We ran and ran...up and down...
I stay at some camp where they made some interesting coffee...
They also had nice aboriginal performance...

I went to Another Brick in atipei recently..they opened a dance floor in the bottom...
Many of my sufer friends were there...
It was normal standard tiapie prices...they also had kebab but it was all sold out...to bad...
Pat was there also...the most innocent but still so guilty person I ever met...might see him at school next week to...we met at soo many coincidences recently...most people here i knew about ended up the Korner later...
A quick visit to Singapore
I paid a visit to Singapore recently...
...and passed by DC coic store in bugis junction...but didnt find any hip thing this time...
,,,omg Daniel Wellington seems big here...its more expensive than in sweden...
...I also went for some local beer...i think i were here before in 2011...
...some local stuff...
...omg some house with gardens...which i also spottd last time i was here in 2014...
...and an epic buffet...
....pretty many things..including indian food, which i never see in taiwans "all you can eat"...
...and sea food...
...and some pumpkin soup...i love this since my ironman in penghu....
...and some espargus...it use to be good to prevent cold, i read in the 90ies...i remember i went looking for it in paris when visiting my sisiter there...and since then i often eat allot of it...

...later on it was time for walking and geocaching...

I also went buying some local beer...they dont sell beer in stores after a certain time...i wonder why...
I also had my batman cake...it was a cheese cake...
...omg...i also found out that they are really wasting plastic bags in singapore...got like 4-6 of them...in sweden maybe 1 for the same amount of items...(paper bags are not so environmental friendly either...I love my backpack or ikea bag)...stands my use year after year...
I also went by the swedish cafe Fika...it was close to where I lived last time i visited singapore...

I ended the trip by inspecting a hello kitty statue in the singapore airport...last time i was here... i took a geocachin in the airport green house...but not it was pretty late in the night...
Uppsala University alumni event
I probably studied at about 17 swedish universites...2 merged to one...but is known as Uppsala university...
...I was invited to an alumni event in Taipei for former uppsala university students...
...they had some cute quetsionaire so that we would get to know each other more...
...they also had some swedish stuff...like snack, cider and beer...
...and some singing...and greetings from uppsala...
I was in uppsala earlier this year...some students graduated some years abo from there...however last course I took in uppsala (where i also attended classes in a classroom was like 15 years ago)...but i was in the city in this may-june...
They rented a room in taipei city...pretty convenient...
Soe guy was from korea another from india...else most people were from taiwan...

Omg..they have cream at carrefour from Arla...almsot like home...
...but not that many locals buy this...

Unsafe taipei?
Omg...someone snatched my front wheel recently...
Strangely enoiguh the police here thought I was more keen on getting the theif than getting my wheel back...they dont have a system where they collect found items here...I wonder if they even want to find stolen things...
...nor did they propose to watch the cameras...i guess it was too dark...

I went out with some friends recently...
...eatib local food, but it was more l ike fusion...
...they also had bowie paitning...so hip...
...I spotted this place near tipai 101, but was initially hard to find

...later on we went to a bar near SYS memorial hall
...many people on the street...
...at next bar we got to pick the songs ourselves...i played alot of tropical and deep house...
They also had an agressive dog...very cute...
....i had an orange drink...it was sweet...

...the hosts were kind of waiting for us to leave...it was already 3am, but they didnt tell us...

A revisit to danlin
I went to danlin recently
Chillin in Geais car, from the tran station
Its usually very hectic when im here...we decided to go for an aboriginal culture park cirely after arrival...
...pretty nice...alot of culture...
And many tribes representative...
Geai had his sunglasses on...i got to borrow a pair too...
This is a long bridge...one of the longest in taiwan...
We headed for some dancing and clothing show...
"Nalywan Theater"...
And people dancing with aboriginal clothes...
Pretty interesting...differnt clothes and dances depending on tribe...
...ater the audience also joined up...
...wee continued to the entrance by foot...i wanted to buy some xiaomijiu...
...."Pacuntapana" means "a place to view over the river"...to warn if it starts to flood...
...once arrived to the entrance, I found many kinds of xiaomijiu...surprislngly many were made in Taopyuan...
...I also med my friend Ken here...he was travelling with his wife, to visit his parents in law...
....we also went to by some coffee..I wanted to try to make an aboriginal "white russian"...
...they had some wierd stuff in a drawer...
...ok...johans aboriginal white russian...it didnt taste as good as the Badasan aboriginal restaurant in taipei...
I found that the coffee here was from the pingdong area...
Near "bei da wu"...I passed by some years ago...they always say "this is the only coffee farm in taiwan"...
Once arriving to the bridge...(longest one)...it was closed...

...and later joined a birthdya party...where i drank my xiaomijiu...
...I also got some "aborignal pizza"...I wasn told...

....day 3 I visited a coco factory..recomennde by my friend, a norweigan guy who lived 65 years in taiwan...

An amis vuvu visited...she was from the east coast...her grand daughter was to marry a local guy from danlin...she was very cool...
...after some short while we had many short of beer...
Many people often sit and obserrve, while a few people drink...not sure why...maybe the rule is "if you are far away from the table...u dont need to follow the drinking manners"...(there is often alot of manners when it comes with toasting i found out)....after some wine I had to return to the north...2017 continues...
A chill trip to the east coast
I went to ximen some time ago...

I met some mountain climbing peopel recently...they wanna do some of the 14 peaks above 8000 meters...I have seen some of these tops when I was in tibet...
It would be fun to do an easy 8000 meter top some day...we had some chiense beer while planning some trips...
Later i went to ximen honglou...always crowded...
Chill in Shida park with nice drinks
I met some funny friends recently in shida park
One friend is doing his miltary serveice now in El salvador, he has a batman tattoo...pretty epic...
And also a david bowie tattoo a la ziggy stardust...epicer...
I brought my favorite beer no1 and no2...and some xiaomijiu...it was a nice combination that was drinken sequently...shida is nice...and 2017 continues...
Penghu Ironman 2017
I took an Ironman recently
I had to transport my bike from taipei to the island via train and boat...and also a short taxi ride...
I also passed by the blue heel church again...pretty fun...
..it was near the taizhong wetlands where the boat departed from
..I know I would be pretty slow...so i had allot to eat the day before...
...omg...after some while I got a flat tire...
..luckily i got some help...with a stong pump...but i had 3 inner tubes with me...I got actually 2 flat tires... :S
...it made me maybe 1 hour delay...I think i for 1 or 2 hours slower than last time...but this time it was pretty hot...I burned myself heavily in the sun...
I wonder where next ironman will be...this time i had a pretty slow bike comepare to the other ironman i been taking...maybe I will do it in sweden or denmark...
...some skin damage..from white to red..
They had plenty of food at the finish...i love the pumpking soup...the day after I went back to taipei again...
Johnnie Walker green label on airports
It says on wikpedia that "Green Label 180 Cask: a limited edition of the Green Label released in 2009 for the Taiwanese market.", soo I thought...but aiports also tend to sell it...it also says: "Green Label 48%: a 2015 limited edition of the Green Label released at a higher strength for the Taiwanese market."...finally it also says that "The brand is now globally available"...
I see it everywhere in Taiwan...but only at airports elsewhere...

We went to some hostel area bangkok...
I did some short visits in bangkok during the night ,else i went to the central area to meet up with my friends...
I was suppose to attend a thai wedding...

They had staff fixing the decoration...pretty impressive...
I also met many chalmers students...

We had to walk in a train...the friends of the groom...

A hike session in Hsinchu
I went to hsinchu some days ago..
Many cars here...
Went with some school mates
Up in the mountains, they had some morning event..
It is nice in the mountains, these were like 1000m high i think

We heard there had 3 entrances to the hike...and some were free entrance...
...apparently some bus also passed by here...

...we also got offer for a free ride back to our car..

And we were back to the 2 coloured eyed dog after some while...
...i visited a store at the saisiyat area...to buy osme aboriginal thing...
..i ended up buying xiaomijiu..i hope the saisiyat made it...
No one wanted to drink with me...so i ended the whole bottle...

Chillin in danshui
I went to danshui some time ago...
Trying a new burger bar that i never seen before...
I got allot of french fries...
...I later on went for some whipped milk...
...many people chillin here...i have been here a cople of times before...

In the horizon I saw the spanish fortress from 1624...
Many people were hanging at the riverside at danshui...
I ended with a stay at a mal lin taipei...where i saw wheat plastic...pretty cool...
